Superb picnic spot but not at all maintained well by government,lot of greenery around to enjoy with family or friends,it has museum with carved stones,boat ride is available but not much significant as it is under maintenance.Near to this dam temples like gurrappa kona,Agathyesthavara kona temples are located near at around 10-15kms famous for local people & all around district.

It was one of the biggest dams I've been to. The road along the damn is almost 3 kms. The river penna flows into the dam. From here you could see the gandikota fort from a distance and also the opening of the grand canyons

THIS PLACE IS A BEST ENJOYING PLACES BECAUSE PARK, DAM IS A GOOD PHOTO SHOOT PLACES. I THINK ITS A GOOD PLACE
