Pretty neat lake with the good ambiance. Surrounded by small hills. Best place for a family picnic. There is a small Shiva temple as well.

Mydala Lake is located close to the Pinchi Basadi. There is a way across the hill. The road is narrow and currently getting constructed. Best to reach by bike. The lake is beautiful and the surroundings looks stunning. Great place for a long drive from Bangalore.

Maidala lake is next to mandaragiri hills also a prt of trip spot for mandaragiri hills which also has pinchi basadi and ancient temples around...... its a walkable distance of around 1-2 kms from parking spot.....this lake is covered by green fields and to have a best view from little stone mountains..........
