This Myanmar temple looks grand and beautiful. It's golden colour attracts the tourists. Inside the temple is Lord Budhha statue. The outside perimeter has several monk's statues... walking to attain nirwana... Buddham Saranam gacchami. Nearby is Buddha Sarowar and other temples. Good place to visit in Kushinagar. See pics for more clarity and like it.
This place is near to the parinirvana sthal. It has golden pagoda with monks statue showing the path of the attaining nirvana. Inside the temple there is idol of Gautam Buddha and nearby to it there is sarovar with the three four shops near the entrance of the main gate. I would advise to have click with the pagoda with professional photographer it looks very nice.
Beautiful place , very calm , quiet and peaceful. Historic sights are awesome and very clean and maintained site. Must visit
Great place to visit , Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinibbana. The stupa was originally built by Malla Kings and successively renovated by several kings and well-wishers from India and elsewhere. The inscription on the copper vessel excavated from this stupa site indicated that it was the actual place of Nibbana Ceti. The present form of the stupa was restored in 1927 by Venerable U Chandramani, Chief Resident Monk of Kushinagar Myanmar Buddhist Vihara, with donations from U Po Kyu and U Po Hlaing of Myanmar.
It is 100m distant from Vietnam-Chinese Buddhist temple. Nice tourist place. Myanmar stupa is a golden coloured stupa. What a architecture shown here. There is a row of monk around the stupa and written their name on their batch. There is also a small and shops and swing for children market outside the stupa. This huge Burmese Pagoda (Samridhi Chaitya Stupa) is also one of the new attractions of Kushinagar. It has been built & managed by Kushinagar Bhikshu Sangh. The construction began in 1997 and was finally completed on 2005. The Pagoda is 108 feet in height and measures the same in diameter. There are four beautiful metal idols of Buddha installed on four sides of Pagoda. One pond with a Buddhist temple in the middle is located in front of the Pagoda. Myanmar Buddhist Vihar is the first monastery in Kushinagar. It holds the main charge for conducting daily & other prayers in Mahaparinirvana Temple of the Kushinagar and is also the main organizer of the Buddha Festival on Buddha Purnima, held here annually. A School, Homeopathic Clinic, Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Dharmshala (Nepali Dharmshala, Chandramani Guest House), run by the Monastery, are located within the premises.
