Visited this shop few days ago to receive a duplicate simcard of jio number. As the sim card was in the name of my cousin who is abroad they were not able to issue the sim. Earlier telecom operators used to give it to the first degree relative of the sim card owner if a handwritten letter is issued by the simcard holder that he/she has no objection in issuing duplicate simcard. I am not sure whether that rule is changed or due to aadhar based biometric KYC, the above stated process was stopped due to operational difficulties. My cousin's wife was able to produce all the requisite documents to prove her husband ( sim card holder) was abroad and she is the legal heir of him. However, staffs in the store refused to provide the duplicate simcard. I am doubtful whether these staffs are unaware of the procedure to be followed to issue duplicate simcard in such cases. However she purchased a new phone number simcard by giving her ID proof. Their activation was superfast and within 25 mins the simcard started functioning. If the staffs here are trained enough to explain the procedure/documentation to be followed based on TRAI guidelines , that would help attracting more customers.
Small Jio store with big offers. Good service. Staffs are very supportive. I bought a new Jio sim there, Mr. Muhammad attended. Fast work.....just within an hour all are activated.....they must be updated with the latest happenings of Jio..... Selection of mobiles are available to buy. They sell mobile gadgets also. Chairs are not there to save time. So staffs are so quick to process our queries. It will be a added advantage of they put some good air conditioner. Placed in the main area where lot of shops & schools. Parking a car is little bit tricky one.

Satisfied beyond measure, the staff were very helpful and kept up their promise of getting the product within one and half days from Chennai as it wasn't in stock at Trichy show room.
