I had my second eye cataract surgery with lens replacement done last week. Both times done by Dr Chandrakant Gaonkar , with excellent results. Needless to say both he and Dr Madhavi are very experienced surgeons. Dr Jayant Kudchadker , who was present as standby anaesthetist, was very helpful. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Excellent service. It's very crowded since the hospital offers very good service, so make sure an appointment is taken before visiting. The staff is very friendly, l they explain everything concisely and patients are attended to fairly quickly. Good parking is available too.
Dr is very experienced and the nurses too are very polite and explain all situations in detail. My cataract surgery was successful and my vision is normal. Additionally all presurgery tests are conducted under one roof at the hospital.
The hospital is very clean and the infrastructure is great... the receptionist and the doctor was very kind with me ... here u can also t try and buy specs's and ayurvedic treatments are also available ..

A caring and dedicated team of Eye doctors and a team of wonderful and kind nurses and support staff. They took good care during my pre-op consultation and entire post surgical process. Their in-house pharmacy is very convenient. At first I was apprehensive of doing my lasik surgery in Goa. As an foreign resident l find their service comparable to any western standards and I have good vision now. If you need any eye surgery, consultation, I would recommend MY EYE hospital. Thank you.
