Musafir Hostels Rishikesh - Backpacker Hostel in Rishikesh - Tehri Garhwal, India

The place it's located in a great area. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Great terrace with nice view. We attended one of the music events at the terrace and it was fantastic. However, I'm not giving it 5 stars since it was sometimes loud. While our stay there were events every night so that made it a bit hard to rest. Good part; events end at 10:30-11:00 pm.

They cleaned the rooms and bathroom everyday. We booked bed in 10 bed dorm. The bathroom was spacious. And the dorm had proper sunlight, ventilation and an amazing view. The top floor has an area to just chill. People jam in the night, play songs, games and music. Also this place is smoking friendly. Its located in Tapovan which is a little far from main rishikesh city. The people working here are friendly and helpful.

This place has a really nice and calming vibe, everything is nearby. Also, had to mention about the food, it was just too amazing! The property is east facing, hence the Sunrise experience was also really nice. We met Arbaz at the counter and he showed us the whole property, a very sweet chap. Overall a very good experience.

Was there for a week and I can easily say that This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious and cozy , good space for luggage too , free wireless internet in the property and a large screen TV. I loved the events and interactions taking place in musafir . So Thank you guys for making my solo trip worth it . Will love to visit again . It's a decent place but I think we could have better options for the price we paid. The private room was small in size. The cafe on the terrace is nice. They make good coffee too. Recommend attending the events and chilling at the cafe. The stay is not that great!

This place is at little height, its not on the main road. Staff was polite but still giving low stars because of following reasons: A) a very bad washroom smell comes from bathroom, which does not go after cleaning as well. B) our private room was extremely small, and they also did not provided towels. C) drainage system is also very bad. D) mirror is only in bathroom without extra lighting. Also, i did not liked the food at all. I think we are paying a pretty good amount, in return we have some expectations. Highly dissapointed. Also they force you for a review, i think most of the reviews are fake. Because specially during checkout time they ask desperately for review. And force you to give them good rating at that time only.

This hostel has the BEST location in terms of the view. The terrace offers such beautiful views of the hills, river and the city that you'd keep on coming back. The rooms are very clean, hygienic, well-kept and comfortable. Special mention to the entire team and staff who are friendly and courteous and make sure you face no issues during your stay and are there to help with anything. Highly recommend.

Great location and amazing view. It's higher up so you don't hear the main street as much. Close to a lot of good cafes. The private rooms were spacious but the winner was the balcony view. Definitely a little more expensive but worth it.
