I visited this place from Bangalore because of its hype and popularity.... But sadly ,the taste and dishes were pretty normal.The staff was rude and did not respond to the customers properly. They had served 4 chutneys out of which 2 were decent enough and the rest were just blunt. The Ghee podi idli had the ghee overpowering and the podi had no peculiar taste.The Masala Dosa was decent enough. We tried the Jigartandha which was delicious. I personally as a tourist felt that there were other eateries in Chennai which offered better and tastier food at a cheaper price than here. Anyways we were heavily disappointed.

I had Podi, paneer ghee dosa and some drink they had. It was good and delicious. But paneer dosa was around 170rs, I didn't feel that worth.

Great breakfast spot serving a massive array of idli. I particularly like the Masala uthapam which is rich, tomato and garlicy, podi idli, podi dosa and paddu. The tomato chutney is gorgeous too.

Highly recommend for idly lovers. Soft idly served with typical south indian sambar and three types chutney. Idly powder and gingelly oil provided with extra cost .

"Highly overpriced. The food was okay, and the service was good. They charge high prices for all items. We ordered an onion uttapam, but it wasn't properly cooked. It's suitable for a one-time visit."

Very traditional atmosphere, from the wall paintings and photos felt historic. Taste was super good. It is good start your day eating such a healthy and delicious breakfast.

Taste and quality Not what it used to be ... They are the first people to serve multiple flavour of chutneys. Still doing it but he flavour is not there. Too many branches actually spoil the standards and this one is good example. Reasonable taste and sometimes less Crowded restaurant to have decent South Indian food.

It's an age old restaurant chain. Food is quite good. One should try their podi items. Personally I recommend ghee podi idli which is quite tasty. Service is below average especially during prime hours. There is no parking space. Prices are above average.
