Very good atmosphere. One of the very few good restaurants on this stretch. Decent quality food and chutneys for which they are known. Good car parking space (but not sure if that may be enough on a peak day long weekend). Easy access from the highway and good signage. Neat toilets.

This Murugan idli veg restaurant is located at a perfect spot on the chennai-bangalore highway and comes close to Kanchipuram. The food is excellent (Although pricey). There is plenty of parking and Its a fully vegetarian restaurant. The only downside is that the restrooms arent well maintained.

No doubt the quality and taste of food here is good. Visited the washroom after food was a disaster.. Shocked to see in a well named restaurant. All the fittings are old and not cleaned properly. Have to mention this strongly as we ladies get infected and go to serious condition due to lack of sanity in these type of washrooms in highways.. Kindly avoid these washrooms.

I had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was charming, with a cozy yet modern decor that created a warm atmosphere. The menu selection was impressive, offering a variety of dishes to cater to different tastes. I opted for their signature dish, and it exceeded my expectations - bursting with flavor and expertly presented. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations. The portion sizes were generous, and the sweet pongal was the perfect sweet ending to the brunch. Overall, it was a memorable culinary journey.

One of the preferred joint by most of travelers commuting between Chennai and vellore and beyond to Bengaluru. Adequate place for safe car parking. Pretty big dining area decent enough to accommodate app 100 pax. Less waiting time. Service is above average speed. The taste of idli , podi idli, ghee dosa, crispy and hot Vada are so authentic and delicious along with 4 types of chutneys and sambar. Finger liking taste guaranteed. I am a regular visitor to this place for atleast 2 years and I find the taste consistently good. Usually crowded in peak hours after 8 am in the mornings however the waiting is worth consigned quality of breakfast available there. They have a small toy shop for children. A must place to visit

It had a very good atmosphere and a huge parking space, But I'm okay with the food which I was ordered except Ven-Pongal which was very very low in quantity that they are offering for a higher cost. It seems really shameful of ordering this food for that much cost. They served it with a prasad plate. I appreciate the way of presence. But the temple prasad had a higher quantity than they offered...

Idli is okay only, but chateny with different variety and taste is too good sambar is also awesome, just because of chatney and sambar, just that hype only, but jigarthanda was too good jigarthanda karupatti was awesome manga flavour also was good when you paying the bill pls check they will add GST but in the bill they will not mention,

On my way back to Bangalore from Chennai. Big banners on the roadside informed me of the presence of this hotel right beside the highway. Upon reaching the spot I was not so sure because it gave the appearance of a rundown or "about to be shifted" place. Once I turned in I was glad to see that it was indeed Murugan Idli shop. Ample parking space. They were probably short of staff when my family and I went in that day. Food was good and service was courteous. Good place to have pure veg food.
