Murugan cafe Ulsoor . If you want to try authentic tamilnadu style sambhar , chutney n all this place is right choice. There are 2 places one is with dining n one is standing n having. We went to todays breakfast ordered masala podi dosai was good. Idly with sambhar n chutney was excellent. Rava dosai was good. Coffee was excellent. Small onion sambhar served here apart from it they have some keerai sambhar. 3 type of chutneys mint, coconut n tomato everything was good. This is not a fancy restaurant. Taste was good , service was quick inspite of the crowd. Overall paid 235 only for all. Had a good dining experience.
Me and my friends got food poisoning after eating here. They served cold vadas and idlis and when asked to exchange it staff rudely took away the vadas and idlis (said no exchange only return) They brought dosa in hand to serve in our plate. The staff was so rude and was pouring chutney and sambhar without any hygiene. Spreading it all over the leaf. This is how they serve (pics enclosed) I don't know how is this so famous and crowded. Very bad experience. Not recommended at all, else you also might suffer from Diarrhoea and food poisoning
Tastes there parota and masala dosa. Both tasted great especially the masala dosa had red chutney smothered on it which added an extra flavour to it. The service was also great and the waiter displayed exceptional professionalism as well. Cleanliness can be slightly improved.
Best parotta in Bangalore Being a vegetarian sometimes it becomes difficult to find a place which serves veg kurma with parotta and murugan cafe makes the best tamil style vegetable kurma. Food is served in banana leaf which is a nice addition and adds a sense of South Indian hospitality. They serve coffee in a dabara set which has a nice rustic touch. Paper roast needs a special mention it's too good. Loved this place. Neat, hygienic, family friendly and courteous staff.
I heard about this place through my colleagues. Interms of size it is very small right under metro station. First day i tried parotta which taste really good. Especially curry is very nice. It cost around Rs. 50/- . You must try this. On second day I have ordered kothu patotta. Surprisingly it didn't taste me well. May be I don't like onions with parotta much. But it is famous for this. Kottu parotta costs around 75. My suggestion would be go for parotta

Amazing restaurant in authentic Tamilnadu style. Every single dish has a lip smacking flavor and taste. Can get a little crowded at times so plan accordingly. The waiters are very friendly and even offer you to have more. Prices are reasonable. Don't miss the filter coffee served in brass ware.
