Peaceful railway station, mostly clean. Autos provide good connectivity to temple, which is around 15 minutes away. This station is full of devotees visiting from all over India. Good options for eating are minimum though, and daytime can be really hot and humid. From this station, one can easily get trains towards Mumbai, Mangalore, Kochi etc.

Murudeshwar is a small but beautiful town with the Murudeshwar Temple as its main attraction. The beaches are good and the sea food is amazing. I really enjoyed my time here.
Beautiful and lovely place with a connected beach. A big vishranti gruha. Safe even in the night. Good security around the Mandir. All kind of veg and non veg restaurants available near by. Good and reasonable hotel stay.
It was an amazing one of a kind experience I had on my little trip starting all the way from Mangalore. Me and my friend loved this destination. It had a decent looking beach but the best part about it was the humongous lord Shiva statue along with the mighty temple that blew me away.
I would one hundred percent recommend everyone and anyone to come visit this beautiful place at least once in their life to bless themselves with a spiritual boost that this place bestows upon.
A small and clean station. Few trains have stop there. A waiting room & snacks bar is available. 2km from murdeshwar temple. Auto charges to temple is 60rs
The staff at ticket counter even not keep change of 100rs ..I travel daily from murdeshwar for my job purpose... they ask exact change for ticket... it is their minimum requirement to keep some change. They don't even care for passengers . May be this is the reason government sectors becoming privatization.this type negligence not happens if it is privatization.
Peaceful, neat and breath taking. Surrounded by a beautiful beach, accessible easily via bus or train. One of the easiest and best destinaions in western india.
Got fish curry rice with anjal tawa fry, anjal rawa fry, prawn fry & prawn chilly fry here....all of us had a really good meal
Besides, 2 slices of anjal come in each plate too! So the quantities are great as are the prices!

Amazing place. We stopped for breakfast. Very delicious and fresh food. Clean and hygiene place with clean washroom. Quick service and affordable prices. Great stop for great food.
