This place is a hidden gem that most folks don't know about. But the locals in Kerala are lucky to enjoy it and we got a taste of it too on our one-day trip. It was amazing. We rented a canoe from our host who suggested it and it was the best decision ever. The ride was so chill and relaxing in the nice weather and it took us about two hours. The old guy who paddled the canoe was super strong and he kept going without a break. The water had bamboo sticks along the way and we saw some awesome spots for taking pictures. And the view point was just stunning. It was a natural spot where we could see the sunset.

Muntrothuruth and its walkway are good to have a weekend getaway. It's ideal place also romantic to spend ur calm evening. From this view pont you can see Arch kandal (mangroves shaped like arch), boat rides, pedel boats, shikara rides, you can have canal boating. Also you can do fishing

Absolutely gem of a place. Mornings and evenings spend here gives a new refreshment. Munroe island is the best place to enjoy the ever fascinating charm of Ashtamudy Lake. Every spot is majestic here and give new insights about visual imaginations. The canals nearing lake is also attractive. The boat ride through canals and lake will be a cherry on a cake when visits this place. Week days would be crowded more. There are a lot of boat riding operators are here who offer boat ride for Rs. 300 for 45 minutes.
