We had a great time at this home stay that we found on Agoda app. The place was surrounded by coconut trees that looked amazing. This is the ideal home stay for nature lovers because they made us feel like part of their family and their food was authentic and delicious. We only ate 2 times a day morning dosa and night Chapathi, so we didn't mind trying this local food The rooms were big, neat and sanitary. The best thing was that this home stay had many scenic spots where we could take photos and have fun. They arranged bicycles for us to ride for fun in the streets. They arranged a canoeing boat and a driver for us for just Rs 2000 for 4 people to visit Munroe View Point and we didn't bargain because it is worth. They also arranged an auto for us when we checked out from the room to the railway station. We will surely stay there again next time.
awesome experience, really social owners...aji bro the owner of the property even lend me his bike for me and my partner to go around the island as well as for buying groceries and all... there was help when ever needed.. great guy ....aji eaatan and his wife they are running the home stay in one of the most social, friendly and professional manner....everybody going here have my full confidence. not to mention ashoketan the 68 year old guy who walks like 17....100years of experience and good vibes.....the man who took us cruising around and within Munro made the day....kudos to the 17 years old.. over all homely feel nand good vibes the hosts were very polite and friendy

This is a gorgeous place to stay on the island. Tucked away and secluded - yet central, it's a peaceful retreat. Lovely big and clean rooms, veranda to read on, surrounded by trees. Our host was AMAZING - so welcoming and interesting and couldn't have been more helpful, booking us rickshaws and a boat trip. Lovely family and lovely little dog! We loved Munroe Island. It's so serene and beautiful and we loved cycling around and taking a boat trip and meeting local people.
The stay was amazing. One of the best home stays in Kerala. The room was very spacious neat and clean. Well maintained. The hosts Ajith and Anjana were very sweet and courteous. They also served us a delicious breakfast and helped us with a beautiful early morning canoe ride across Kallada river and Ashtamudi lake ( INR 500/ hour). I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone who wishes to visit Munroe island.
The location of the stay was giving a different vibe as the homestay is located in the approximate centre of Munroe island covered with greenery and is easily accessible by auto. The rooms were perfectly clean with AC and hot water available at all the time. The food was so tasty and yummy all thanks to the host. Boating sight seeings arrangements, sunset point suggestions were so authentic and we enjoyed it to the fullest. Overall it is a premium deal with a cheaper price. Highly recommended.
Munro Meadows is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. You can't hear the noise of the streets in the house. The whole place made us feel at ease. Ajith and his wife was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when they welcomed us. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend everyone to try the home cooked items, especially prawns. I would definitely come again! Thank you for an amazing experience. :)
Excellente experience chez Anjana et Ajith, l'emplacement est au calme, sous les arbres. C'est une vraie pause tout confort, les repas sont tres bons, la chambre tres grande avec une table exterieure pour manger. Le tout a un budget vraiment tres accessible. Anjana est au petit soin, elle nous a emmene avec elle pour des experiences 100% locales ! Des velos sont mis a disposition, ce qui est un gros avantage pour se balader sur l'ile. Nous avons adore notre sejour, nous repartons reposes et pleine de bonnes energies. Avec grand plaisir pour revenir dans quelques annees !

Kayaking in munroe is a satisfying experience. Its a good place to learn kayaking. There is shallow as well as deep waters. Kayaking through the mangrove with cool breeze hitting us is clearly a rejuvenating adventure.
Had the boating here in 2019 and the experience was amazing. Will visit this place soon. There are different boating type and timing available. I selected 1 hour ride in canoe. Will take us through the mangraoves.

Very nice place to spend the evening. Munroe island has nice mangrove forest and the best way to explore is taking a row boat. Don't miss getting into shallow water in the middle of lake!! Courteous boatmen- just need to pay approved rates..
