Munroe Heritage Inn Homestay feels like home. Owner Suresh made us feel safe and comfortable for the entire duration of our visit. The property is beautiful. HomeStay is spacious and well maintained. It has 1 room with attached bathroom and separate dressing area. It also has wifi facility and hot water geyser . Stay is right opposite to the back waters and is easily accessible by road. Owner served us home made delicious breakfast and took care of the smallest of our needs. On request, owner arranged for a canoe tour, vegetarian food for dinner, an auto to the railway station and took us around the island for temple visit and lunch. Expect only the best hospitality, warmth and comfort at Munroe Heritage Inn Homestay.
Travelled from the UK and stayed at this wonderful homestay. Suresh was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile to make sure my experience of Munroe Island was perfect. He took me sightseeing on his bike, served delicious breakfasts courtesy of his lovely wife and went out to buy great vegetarian food for me in the evenings. A great spot to unwind, read, do yoga on the terrace, explore and relax. Stay here! Thank you Suresh!!
Munroe Heritage Inn Homestay feels like home :) Suresh Chettah (term for elder brother in Malayalam) and his wife, treated us like part of family and made us feel extremely safe and comfortable for the entire duration of our visit. The property is beautiful, well maintained and has a rustic charm to it. It is right opposite to the back waters, and easily accessible by road. They served us home made sumptuous meals- evening tea, dinner and breakfast, and took care of the smallest of our needs. On request, Suresh Chettah arranged for a sunrise canoe tour, an auto to the train station, and even took us around the island on his own bike for site seeing. Expect only the best hospitality, warmth and comfort at Munroe Heritage Inn Homestay. Will definitely visit again!
Beautiful homestay, clean and spacious room with ventilation. It is right opposite to the back waters. Owner Suresh is very caring and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful weekend.

I'm from the UK travelling around Kerala for a few weeks. What a great find this place this is! Nice room, idyllic location and outstanding hospitality from Suresh who will do anything to ensure his guests are happy! Lovely vegetarian breakfast and veg. lunches/dinners organised for delivery. We had the most amazing time here. It's a cute little house right opposite the river and the place is immaculately clean and tidy with homely food. The 3-hour sunset canoe ride (with extra charges of course) was just exceptional! Suresh sir is one of the nicest, kindest person I've ever met and he'll go out of his way to make sure your stay is perfect in every sense. The island exploration on his bike was a total cherry on top! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a hassle free, laid-back vacation experience.

Kayaking in munroe is a satisfying experience. Its a good place to learn kayaking. There is shallow as well as deep waters. Kayaking through the mangrove with cool breeze hitting us is clearly a rejuvenating adventure.

Very nice place to spend the evening. Munroe island has nice mangrove forest and the best way to explore is taking a row boat. Don't miss getting into shallow water in the middle of lake!! Courteous boatmen- just need to pay approved rates..
