Municipality Ground - Playground in Gandhigramam, Karur - Karur, India

A very good place for morning walk, now evening also u can go for walk. With melody songs on the background is played in the background, speakers are set around the ground. For safety CCTV cameras are fixed around the ground. Neatly maintained Now small park for children is developed, u can enjoy your evenings with kids. A gym is also getting ready to make you stronger and fit. A person is on duty for maintenance of the place. Few more improvements like more lights are to be installed around kids playing area. Big place, which needs to be maintained well for the longer period. Public toilet need to be in operation A very good place for the people around Gandhigramam. Surely your kids will enjoy here. Nice place to go for walking/kids enjoying . The lights timer to be adjusted for 6 pm. 5 to 6 lights not working. That should be corrected

Excellent ground situated @ gandhi gramam. Also walking stage in and around the ground available and maintained by corporation of Karur. Play ground also there. Really gift to the people of in and around Gandhi gramam areas. Music system with good and soft sound effect present also added as a plus point to the walkers. For old people sitting slabs there for taking rest then and there. Apart from all these Indoor games facilities available for males and females separetely. No toilet facility available (construction work completed but not opened for public this is a minus point).

Nice place to walk and play also for sit and talk

Great place to spend time in the evening with friends, family and kids. It holds a minimal space for the Kids Physical Activity Park, to engage the kids. Well established local in the mid of the Busy area. Spaciest location for the sports person to equip themselves. This ground is having well formed Sports Courts for Kho-Kho and Valley Ball. Regular practices for the Martial Arts like Silambam, Karate is being conducted in this ground.

Situated on main road busstop Gandhigramam kumar store stop. Approx 350 meter walking track made of paversway block. Small play area for kids below 12 yrs age. Mid ground can be utilised for kids above 12 for playing different field games. Entire place is under CCTV surveillance. Light music played on speakers along walking track. Wash room under construction. No drinking water facility. So carry water bottle during summer. Indoor gym available but not seen functional. Something is better than nothing for kids. This place is some times used as bus stand. In side the east side volleyball ground and the national tournament place. Some times this ground used for business activities. In the time of deepavali platform shops here only allowed to sale their things. This is the place for the Independent day & Republic day functions. Multi purpose place & very useful place for the Karur municipality and the Karur peoples.

Very poorly maintained... When it was opened it was very well maintained by the govt.... now all play area items are damaged to the core.. wasting tax oayer money...
