Mumbaiya Misal & Vadapav CG Road - Fast food restaurant in Ahmedabad - Ahmadabad, India

This quick restaurant offers multiple maharashtrian food items including misal paav, ulata paav (paav-vada), vada paav, cold coffee, and other cold drinks. It is a self service restaurant and it falls under the snack center category as it doesn't have enough seating area and is a self service snacks center. The parking space is not available here at all and you have to park vehicles at your own risk. The food is average in taste and service is very poor. The cleanliness is not maintained at all. I have visited this restaurant multiple times and observed these issues during all my visits. The one who want to try some limited maharashtrian food items can visit this restaurant. Though it doesn't match with the original taste of misal, vada paav, ulata paav, and others.

Value for the money! Food quality is very good, it just needs to be improve service and cleanliness surrounding.

I tried Mumbaiya Misal Pav - Rs 75 and really liked it. The taste is very close to that you get in Pune. They even provide extra tari if you ask. Even regular misal was very spicy. Extra pav - Rs 10. A must try place in CG Road. I'll definitely visit again.

If you are in search of typical mumbaiya vadapav taste then this place is for you. We tried misal pav, vadapav, shezwan vadapav, and ulta pav. And all of them were really delicious. The taste the quality the quantity was good. You should try here . This is situated near ganesh chamber building at the corner. Make sure about the parking if you have 4 wheeler.

Nice place for traditional bombay style vadapav but they don't have og bhajipav.

It's a small eatery - an open cafe type place. Overall good food is available here. I Personally tried Misal pav & Kanda bhaji, the taste was relatable / resembling the dishes from its origin (Maharashtra) however can't compete with the original taste. Light snacks is available with some traditional drinks (Hot & cold both served here). The serving capacity is quite limited and looks like a road side laari. 2 small plastic tables [4 person / table Sitting] & 1 long table (along the side wall) + 3 round standing tables. The eating area is half covered. One will observe heavy rush in peak hours i.e. Lunch time and the evening tea time. (As the cafe is surrounded mostly by office space). Buttermilk served here could have had been better. (Local made packing was sold). This place can just be treated as a Jugad (need basis) to arrange some substitute in case you are not carrying your lunch box with you. Over all the outlet is ok and can be considered visiting the place once & try typical Mumbaiya / Maharashtrian dishes.

One of the good places to have Vada Pav and Misal pav. I have had both, good and okay experiences here. The problem is that the taste of Vada is not consistent. Also if you visit this place early morning, Vada is made of previous nights potato filling. If this is rectified, Mumbai Misal and Vada can easily become the best and biggest Vada pav chain of its kind in Ahmedabad.

This place gives you experience of Mumbai's authentic Vada pav taste in Ahemdabad. Good quality and tasty food. Vadapav and sev usal pav are really good. Also they have quite a good amount of serving size at affordable rates. Other options like misal and misal thali could be tried.
