We visited Kas Pattar, Satara on a one day overnight journey with Mumbai Pune Adventurers. We travelled through the night, visited the plateau the next day and returned back the evening. Definitely a memorable trip. MPA leaders are warm and welcoming. They took adequate care that we were picked up at the right time.The traveller mini bus was new, neat and cleaned. The AC was functional and effective. The group who travelled with us were fun loving and extremely understanding of each other. Swapnil our tour leader was with us through the trip. He was considerate and understanding. He turned into our guide at Kas plateau when the regular guide was not allocated due to heavy rush. Certainly worth a mention, we got left out while at the Plateau as I had to take a washroom break. Since there is no network connectivity, we were unable to reach anyone and had no whereabouts. We were given prior instructions to stay at one place at Gate 1 and we adhered to it. Fortunately one of my messages got through to them. On realising we were left out the team waited in the bus at a particular spot for 15 minutes since they were getting some network there so that they could connect with us. Truly appreciate all of them for doing that for us. Swapnil then came back walking all the way from Parking 1 to get us. We did miss seeing a couple of points due to the incident but the MPA team made it up by taking us to 12 Motyachi Vihir architecture of which is worth seeing. The well itself is not in use and unkempt but it's worth a try to make it a tourist spot so that it's condition can be improved. The breakfast was hot and tasty. Lunch wasn't too appetizing and was cold. The place where we halted for the breakfast and lunch break wasn't up to the mark. The toilet facilities can be greatly improved. Cleanliness is the least we can expect. Overall we had a wonderful trip. They stopped at clean facilities while traveling and also provided us with evening tea while returning back. I would certainly recommend MPA for the sincere and down-to-earth service they provide to their participants as a team. Wishing you all the best Mumbai Pune Adventurers.
