Beautiful lake. Try to visit during dawn. It might be tricky to find the proper entrance, there are many offbeat trails leading to the lake shore but the locals were helpful in guiding us.

My favourite place for day outing. Mulshi lake is an emotion for me. It's beautiful. One can just relax at this place. Calm , cool, serenity and peace. Just laid back and enjoy the sound of nature. One can enjoy the most beautiful sunset at this point. I highly recommd visitors, please do not spread garbage and don't break the bottles. Please keep the nature clean & clear. Avoid swimming in the lake. Best place for pre wedding shoot as well.
Its beautiful place of pune ...must visit and relax....relly like atmosphere...river view are very beautiful....

Beautiful place with hardly any crowd. Saw one of the most beautiful sunsets. The drive from Pune was nice too.
Picturesque! Serene! Soothing! We visited the Mulshi Lake from Hinjawadi, Pune and it took about 1 hour. The route was all bad in patches, but largely v. good. The scenery enroute is just breathtakingly beautiful. Towards the end, we could visit the Lake-bank and spent some time before the Sunset. The view of the hills, the water and the Sun along with the cool. We were there to visit the restaurant Basho's, from where the Lake is visible from the dining area. Mixed feelings about the food, this time though. They also have a hotel with concrete & Swiss tents like rooms for overnight stay and enjoy the Lake View at night. At the time we visited the Lake, through a trail 100 metres away from Basho's, there was no one else and we had the whole area for us to enjoy. This was unlike Khadakwasla Dam view or even the Pawna Lake View where we found many visitors last time. All in all, it is a must visit place and provides a greater satisfaction rate than other similar places around Pune.
Mulshi lake is 35 km away from pune city, the beast season to visit is mansoon and winter. You can enjoy sunset and sunrise here which is very beautiful.
