DANGER. Most terrible experience ever in my entire life. I stayed here for 2 nights with 20 members of my family. 9 people fell sick in the resort due to food poisoning. And the rest after we left the place. God knows what they're adding to their food. Don't visit this place and if you want to pay to fall sick then definitely visit this place. Thought of spending time with my family but ended up sick in bed. I missed college to visit this place and this is what happened. My sister and I are still sick right now not able to attend college due to severe stomach pain and diarrhoea. Worst part is I'm constantly farting and getting the sickest burps ever. I feel they add soda to their food so that everyone eats less and so that they don't have to cook more food because of less staff but are looting money from us. One of my cousin she is pregnant and she was up all night vomiting and had severe diarrhoea as well. EVEN TERRIBLE is the service worst ever. Understaffed and nobody is taking responsibility and their reason for this situation is that this never happened before like as if that's a good enough reason. THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD HAVE MADE SURE THIS NEVER HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE. I've been to the best of best restaurants and hotels in the world. Now my sister and I have got trauma thinking about eating out and staying in a hotel. Now just thinking about going out and having a good time gives me a bad feeling and feels like im going to fall sick. And thus resort is the sole reason for this situation of mine. Trusted this place just because it was under Marriott bonvoy. And when I asked to look at how they're preparing food in the kitchen I was diverted into the lobby because obviously the staff didn't want me to see the reality of the place. God knows if they've been raising rats and cockroaches in there. Horrible service. Only 1 person serving 20 people. They'll take 1 hour to serve food after ordering. The staff is not even happy that they have guests and just serve for the heck of it. No resolution given from the staff after we complained about the food poisoning other than the fake we're sorry let us provide you with water and electrolytes DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. If my health continues to deteriorate then this resort better watch out to face the consequences

This is a review which has been long pending, so here you go From the moment you step into Mulberry Shades Resort, you are enveloped by the warmth and courteousness of the staff, which greatly contributes to the resort's overall ambiance. Bhawana, the Guest Relations Manager, stands out for her exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure that each guest's needs are met promptly and with a smile. The property itself is a haven of amenities. The pool is inviting, well-maintained, and offers the perfect respite from the bustling city life. The in-house restaurant serves a delightful array of dishes, with the chef being a particularly kind and well-mannered individual who takes great pride in crafting delicious meals. Children can enjoy their time at the dedicated play area, while adults can stay fit at the modern gym facility. There is also an indoor play area and cycling experiences to keep guests entertained throughout their stay. Despite these attractions, it is worth mentioning that the resort is somewhat limited in terms of open spaces. This, however, is a minor drawback when considering the comprehensive experience the resort offers. The rooms are another highlight, designed to create an atmosphere of comfort and luxury. They are spacious, well-lit, and kept immaculately clean, providing a cozy retreat at the end of an activity-filled day. Note: Do plan to go in during weekdays if you are looking for a quiet time with family. Weekends could be a bit too lively and loud for the former, but works perfectly fine for the party kind..

Went for a meal during lunch. The place was packed to the gills. Staff were running about like headless chickens. It looked more like a holiday weekend in Disneyland during summer. Food was bad. We asked for less spice but got dry and no spice. The pasta came cold and totally bland. The accompanying bread was hard as ever. Had expected better from an establishment which has such a wonderful location and pedigree. To top it the valet took interminably long to get our car. Turns out the first guy who went to get the car didn't know how to start it!!!

Our family of 7 recently had the privilege of staying at the Mulberry Shades, Bangalore to celebrate our cousin's 40th birthday and it was nothing short of a spectacular experience. The moment we set foot on the property, we were captivated by the grandeur and beauty of the resort. The architecture is a perfect blend of sustainability and luxury, providing a serene atmosphere that is truly unique , seamlessly blending into the landscape. The lush green surroundings and the meticulously maintained landscapes added to the charm, making us feel like we were in a royal retreat. I have been to almost all of Marriott properties in India, But this one was definitely one of the best -be it hospitality or the property itself. I have been to many good properties over India but I have never experienced such royal hospitality - from room service to buggy drivers, each and everyone was always willing to help and greet with warm smiles. The Hospitality is of highest quality in this property. The rooms were luxurious , spacious and beautifully designed with all the modern amenities one could ask for. Each room was a sanctuary that provided the perfect respite after a day of activities. The attention to detail in the decor and the comfort of the beds were commendable. We were delighted to see customised pillow covers for all members of our family which was an extremely sweet and warm gesture on the part of the team to make us feel welcome. The service provided by the hotel staff was exceptional. They were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their hospitality truly made us feel like royalty. A special mention to Assistant Restaurant Manager - Sumit and his team, who were phenomenal. They catered to our every culinary whim, accommodating personal preferences and dietary needs with ease. Rahul from the restaurant ensured that all our food was served piping hot with a smile. The wellness and recreational facilities at the resort were top-notch. We enjoyed the spa services and the recreational activities available for kids. I would like to mention Avantika for her personal session. The Property Manager Ms. Devidyuti Ghosh has done an excellent job of personalising service for the guests. The hospitality is amazing and hands down boasts of the most respectful and loving staff. we didn't want to leave the hotel. The staff felt like family. Any request we had was granted within minutes. Our experience were enhanced by the smiles, special treatment and sincere care of Aditya, Kamlesh & Chinnappa. They were solid pillars always ready to help. In conclusion, our stay at the Mulberry Shades, Bangalore was a memorable one. It's a perfect place for families looking for a luxury retreat with a personal touch. We left with beautiful memories and a promise to return soon. Highly recommended!

A recently opened place close to Nandi Hill. We had last minute plans made up to get to the place. The good: 1. Location is superb, pretty much the closest to the hills you can get. 2. Rooms are good, recently built and interior is very different from the JW close by. A bit more resort type, some very beautiful furniture with rounded wood and overall the not sharp kind of build is really cool. 3. We stayed in what was called a bunglow with a queen bed You have a sofa, a dining table with two chairs and a lounge chair next to the sofa. All chairs can be pushed aside to make room for a bed in case 3 are to stay The setup is cozy and good for a small family 4. Balcony in the room is added advantage with views of the hills. Particularly morning with clouds is a mesmerizing sight. 5. Food is good, not spicy and light on tummy. In room dining is pretty fast. 25 to 35 mins even during rush hours. 6. The bar with chairs in pool are good. Though space pretty much for 2 to 4 individuals 7. Really nice walk arouns the perimeter. Good for morning or evening stroll 8. Coffee shop is great. One of the best filter coffees we have had in some time now. 9. Staff is really helpful and caring. We had some celebration planned and boy, did they setup the experience right from arrival to departure. Superb, just What could be better: 1. The pool and restaurant get overloaded when at capacity. This weekend seemed like one of thosw long weekends where it was a 100pct booking. The rush at pool and food counters led us to either go late or order at room. 2. Its great if you are booked as a group and almost have a whole set of rooms booked for you. For the single rooms, it maybe a bit of too many people grouping and using the facilities, making you look for space to have a quiettime outside of the rooms :) Again, we dont have a complaint. This is expected of any place over a long weekend. I am sure the best of places have similar issues and we all collectively are responsible for the rush. So no complaints. Aditya, Bhavana and the entire staff are super helpful. We will definitely be planning another trip, preferably one of the weekdays. Definitely recommend this to anyone planning a few days to relax have good food and look at the hills. Oh by the way, did we say they are pet friendly and had a NGO put up booth with close to 10 amazing dogs up for adoption. It was super cute.

Editing to change the rating from 1 to 3, because the service was much better on day 2 and we ended up having a good stay. Terrible experience. We are currently here for long weekend and plan to go back after just one night. The resort is jam packed with people, blaring music till late night, no sense of relaxation whatsoever. It is too small to have this many people in it, poorly planned. We had booked a baby cot a week in advance which they did not honor. Not only that, they did not tell us that they had run out of baby cots until we followed up 5 times with repeated calls and visits to the reception. Please do not go here especially on long weekends. The JW Marriott property next door is a much better choice. Marriott should seriously reconsider having this property under their umbrella due to the poor service. We have traveled a lot and this has been one of our worst experiences.
