Mulbagal Dosa Corner, Jayanagar - Featured Reviews (1991)
The best place I've had Mulbagal dose in Bengaluru. Their service is brilliant too! The staff always have a smile while serving you which is quite welcoming. Not too expensive and totally worth it. Everything was very tasty. We tried the mulbagal dosa and the bath dosa, both were extremely good - soft and thick on the inside and crispy on the outside with perfect amount of ghee (neither overloaded nor stingy). The vada is big and crispy as well. Tried their unique sabakki (sabudana) idly- it is different and good too. The coffee and badam halwa are one of the best I've had. Good seating is available.
Had been here only for breakfasts and every single time went fot mulbagal dosa as that became the primary purpose of visiting here. This explains how it is and how consistent it is. Undoubtedly the best you can get in Bangalore. Their almond halwa and coffee are also good. Service struggles at times if crowded but overall not bad. I would have loved a bit of an open atmosphere like typical Karnataka restaurants.
It is a very nice place to have Mulbagal Dosa. It's a part of Hotel Pai Viceroy, and the ambience is excellent. The place is in the heart of Jayanagar 3rd. Block and parking sometimes can be an issue. The hotel offers valet parking. The Mulbagal Dosa offered are of two varieties: the masala dosa and the bath dosa(which has rice also added in the masala). It takes a while to prepare this dosa, and one should be patient. It looks like a cross between a dosa and an appam. The batter is different, and hence, the taste is unique. The combination of the masala inside and ghee makes the taste heavenly! All items are prepared and served hot, which makes you wait for sometime. We also had great coffee. It's open all days from morning 7am to 11am and evening 4.30pm to 11pm. Items are a bit pricey
Visited for breakfast. Reasonable wait time, rush could be due to weekend. Place is a bit congested, but neatly maintained. We had Mulabagl Dosa, Sabbakki (sabu dana) idli and Lemon Shavigebath. Sabbakki idli was really the best dish. Mulabagal Dosa was tasty, but very greasy. Coffee, tea are served in brass tumblers. Overall, good experience!
The best mulbagal dose in south Bangalore without a doubt. The taste is just amazing. Specially the sabbakki idly which was just amazing and soft and very tasty. The dosa is accompanied with peanut chutney but the rest comes with normal coconut chutney they are just extremely flavorful and just add to the taste. You can't stop without having their mini coffee which is a perfect blend for a South Indian palate.
I went here for Mulbagal Dosa. It was different experience than the usual dosa that we get. Frankly I liked it. It's crispy from outside and soft from inside. Coffee here was also very good. There was quite a rush and I had to wait for 20-25 minutes, so expect some wait times. Overall place is managed very well. Its inside Pai viceroy hotel. Overall very good place to try out different dosa.
Absolutely loved the Mulbagal Masala Dosa...Crispyyy out & fluffy in. Sabbakki idly tasted amazing & the filter coffee was damn pleasing to palate. Limited menu. Felt little pricey but worth it. Highly recommended.
We usually go here for morning breakfast. If there's a queue then you need to reserve the table and wait for your turn. Food quality, staff service, cleanliness all good. This restaurant has valet parking service too. Only minus is since the sitting area in the ground floor is small and hence tables are placed very closely next to each other so it tends to be little noisy and couldn't enjoy the food peacefully. Hence ambience needs little improvement.
Visited twice and food was amazing both the times. Friendly service. Reasonable pricing too. Looking forward to be a regular. They have home delivery service also. Rating 5/5
One of the older restaurants in south Bangalore. This is the original Brahmin's coffee Bar. Subsequently many places with same name have started in Bangalore though they are not related. Unlike most other places this restaurant has its own timing - 7
Best taste and service. It's one of my favourite places. Whenever we go to Yelahanka, this is the place we prefer to eat. I hope the employee name is Naveen, he suggests the best choice, listens carefully to the orders and serves as we desire. I reco
Visited here on a Saturday morning. Was quite crowded. Famous spot for breakfast with limited yet tasty menu. We had their Ghee Masala Dosa and Idli Vada with chutney. The Masala Dosa was very crisp with good filling of potato bhajji. Idli Vada was a

Love the crispy Masala dosa , their each and every items served tastes good . You can blindingly order any from the menu here . Also the person behind this hotel is a great human being too . Definitely have a word with him if time permits.
My favourite pub in Bangalore. Vast seating, excellent vibe, fantastic food! Great service. It is really sad that this place has closed down. The food is inspired by Karnataka. Cool film inspired decor everywhere. The baked Mysore Pak is most excelle
One of the best filter coffees in south Bangalore ! Very reasonable prices and don't miss to have the Idli and vada with chutney ! The taste is unparalleled and also one of the few places open from pretty early in the morning. The vada is the best
