In June month, got a chance to visit this place. Mukteshwar is the destination which was unplanned for us. We started our trip from Delhi in the morning by 10 am and in the evening by 4, we were at Nainitaal. Then we reached Mukteshwar by 09 PM. Mukteshwar isn't very costly destination and you'll enjoy the mountains very much here. Everything including weather is perfectly balanced here and no more acclamatization, headache etc. Environment of Temple is peacefull and you'll visit the attraction of this place "Cholly Ki Jolly". Zip line and other are attractive adventures here. In the end, this destination is very much attractive affordable and unique if you are even looking for a weekend thrill..
View from the ridge is very beautiful....you have to go on your feet there which is approximately 500m or less I think. This is crowded one place, availability of snacks and beverages ( but dont litter)....you can have panoramic view of snow covered mountains I you are lucky... Ridges are very Incline and deep so you must be careful before you try too clicks photos and videos there...
Very ancient temple in Garhmukteshwar, need proper maintenance of old Temples and signboards too.
