Mukteshwar MahadevTemple - Hindu temple in Mukteshwar, Darima - Nainital, India

So calm and serene place. Ideal place for meditation. I can sit there for hours. 360 deg view fantastic scenic beauty. Love to visit again with my dear one.

Traveled in jun 2023. Super cool spot. The day we went were drizzled. So much enjoyed a view n weather. We rented a car to reach there. Temple view was awesome. But early darshan will be appreciable other wise parking will be difficult. U will have to climb up. You can have trail walk from the temple to stunning view valley of mukteshwar. Worth including in itinerary.

No words can explain the beauty of this temple and mukteshwar which lies in the lap of nature full of lush green deodar trees. Would suggest to visit and stay here if you are looking for Peaceful environment and escape from the hustle.

Visiting Mukteshwar was a fantastic experience! We had the good fortune to attend the evening aarti when we visited the temple in the evening. Mahadev's darshan was enchanting. The temple is well-kept, and provided a welcome relief from Delhi's scorching heat. We stopped at Chauli ki Jaali, which is right behind the temple, to see the sunset before visiting the temple as well. Seeing the Himalayan peaks against the backdrop of the sunset, which painted the entire sky orange with hints of blue in it, was truly magnificent.

No words to describe the eternal beauty of this place. This temple is surrounded by beautiful valley from all sides. The picturesque of Chauli ki Jali and Zero point are the nearby attractions to this holy place. One can visit this place all the year round, but I would suggest to plan a trip between December and late February. The winter beauty would add to this place's aura.

No words to describe the experience. Very good place to visit, View fron there is awesome. Main temple gate closes at 5PM so if you want darshan then arrive before 5PM. There are several steps you have to climb to reqch there but it worth.

Serene and calm. Blissful experience. Would recommend the UK government to keep the premises more clean, apart from that everything is nice. Such an old temple. The story goes like that the marble shiv linga was found by Pandavas and they built the temple during their 12 year old penance wanting to attain mukti, this named as mukteshwar.

Situated on good height. One has to climb good number of stairs. But doable and worth visiting. Very old shiva temple. And the view of valley from here is gorgeous. If you are staying at kmvn then its a good trek. Around 30min beginners trek.
