Peaceful. I stayed here for 3 days and tbh my experience was great. If you're seeking something touristy, let me tell you, there isn't anything.. it's just hills, forest, cold wind and Maggi. If you're one of those travelers who drive their car to the main spot and gets back to comfortable hotel rooms, sorry but this place isn't for you... but if you pack your water bottle and a raincoat and just go out in the wild.. sit with locals.. enjoy silences.. love hiking... this villahe could be worth visiting.
It's a lovely place esp at this time of the month (March). You'll see rhododendrons in full bloom and marvel the convergence of snow capped mountains with the greenery surrounding them.
Best thrilling moment when I was sitting there. Best view from here with a beautiful temple just upside of hill. Some local shops are there with some local dishes. Overall one day trip for Mukteshwar is worthy.
See starting with mukteshwar temple first. 1.) The importance of temple is there as it gives you a glimpse of a view what is coming next . 2.) Protection of people living and doing their chores is responsibility of the temple bhagwan. Now the chauli ki jali . 1.) Never had a view like these as I had over there. 2.) Gone to places above the height of jali but none had a glimpse of mountain like these. 3.) A must visit place of you go to nainital.

Mukteshwar is a beautiful town located in Uttarakhand. It's close to Nainital. Mukteshwar is a hill station, known for its scenic views of the nearby hills and also the distant Himalayas. The nearest airport Mukteshwar is in Pantnagar, 100 Km away. The closest international airport is Delhi International Airport. Several top class hotels are available in Mukteshwar. For siteseeing, one can also visit some ancient temples nearby. Indeed a calm, beautiful place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Have already reviwed. Rotine stop for me. Can get the usual fare...maggi,chowmein,parathas,tea,coffee etc plus the bar. Owner n staff r polite n avialable. Highly recommended enroute to dhanachuli,dol ashram,almora on bhimtal padampuri route.
