MUKTADHARA NATURE RESORT - GHATSILA - Resort hotel in Bara Jurni - East Singhbum, India

Its like a homestay in a resort. The Manager & Staffs are really supportive. Walking in the campus is itself a pleasure.The campus has Children area, play ground & some rare plants. We have booked the most pocket friendly room and it was okey. The food is excellent here. Every item was Fresh, Tasty & Served Hot. The location is just 3 km from highway and its in the mid of nature.

I visited this resort with my family this weekend. First- DO NOT take the rs.2000 room. The ac doesn't work properly and the room is tiny. According to them there were no room left so they had to give us that room. But don't ever take that room. And you won't see the pictures in the website of this room also. Second- the staffs are good but need more experience to handle crowds. They literally gets puzzled and nervous if there are many tourists. Third- The road from main highway till the resort is very very bad. If you have a low ground clearance car then you are in trouble. Fourth- Do not get carried away with the menu in the website. They offer only a few items which will be cooked on that particular day. Verdict- Set up in a beautiful location and a huge land area but fails to manage and build a proper manner. Everything is there but not in order or in place.

Most worst experience...I traveled 3km in such a horrible road and at last they didn't allow to enter the resort... staff talk with us in so disrespect manner and i don't know why they didn't even allow us to enter the resort.. they didn't even talk nicely with us... most worst staff ever I have met.... We just asked them to move inside and they misbehaved... Staff misbehaved with us Most worst staff... and worst experience....

I visited the resort during Durga Puja with a group of 28 family members. The location of the resort is excellent. The greenery, calm & quieteness of the area relaxed the mind. There is also a small stream beside the main building, you can hear the sound of stream althrough the day from the room. Their hospitality and services and quality of foods are very good. Ages of our members were from 8yrs to 80yrs. Altogether, we enjoyed a lot during our 3 days staying. Only con is the condition of the approaching road from National Highway to the resort is pathetic. But that can be ignorable when you entered into this natural and nascent area.

This resort is truly value for money. The room we stayed room no 102 or 103 (couldn't remember its number exactly) but it's in the first floor of the main building and by the riverlet or the small stream as one can call it. The room also comes with a specious balcony protected with net which allows the fresh air and at the same time prevents most of the insects and an excellent space for spending quality time or me time. They have also fitted a fan which makes the place more comfortable. Wash room is spacious, neat and clean with all amenities. The staff behavior is also very good with special mention of Biswanath daa helped us a lot. Moreover this review would be incomplete without mentioning about Mr Amit Mohanty whose behavior and co operation we shall remember for years to come. As regards food we have few suggestions for the persons planning to go here. We feel mixed vegetables and chicken and plain rice would be best choice. These three items are outstanding. We make it clear it's our personal opinion and we aren't telling anyone not to try anything else. Actually we are so impressed with their rice, mixed veg and chicken ( not desi version, because we tried but it couldn't fulfill our expectations), that we are eager to go here have these with the stay. We stayed there for two days in July, 2023. We wish to have the capacity to stay there atleast once or twice a year. Altogether a very good experience. Soujanya Bandyopadhyay.

It's a very beautiful resort in Ghatsila with lot of vibrancy all around.Its surrounded by lots of greenery and also has a river flowing beside the premises which added very splendid views throughout my stay. A mesmerizing experience with my family at a place which was so wonderful. Very courteous staff, clean premises, humble people serving you when you are in their premises.We enjoyed good food and the rooms were in superb condition . Highly recommended for a safe and secure stay.

Been there just before Puja for a couple of nights. My feelings for this place after my maiden visit is in complete unison with most of the happy reviewers. If you need just some laid back relaxation among lush vegetation with nothing much to pursue for sightseeing then you will surely like the place. The fare is exquisitely pleasant in the dinning much due to its familiarity with home cooked food. The portions are apt to the prices. The service offered by staff are are prompt and with due cordiality and eagerness. If you are a bengali with a middle class background then you will feel queerly comfortable with the ambience. I don't know whether this statement of mine is rather limiting in nature but that's what I exactly felt during my stay. Lots of elderly boarders who were just strolling among the greenery only confirmed my feelings. Manager babu is a very genial and helpful person. Just chatting with him about the area and nearby will make your idle hours more enjoyable. The negatives?..... Well, the approach road from Highway is practically without asphalt and your own vehicle or locally hired one will have to negotiate this rattling, bumpy stretch. Hopefully, the road will soon be repaved as I gathered. Be mindful while using Google map. You have to take a right turn into an underpass at Kasidah Bus stand for a u turn. Google can't figure whether you are under the bridge or over it so the moment you reach the previously considered point for right turn it will prompt you to go 2 km ahead for a cut in the highway for right u turn. While traversing the inroads to the resort just after leaving the highway you will see a board of Muktadhara at a junction of two roads(rather lanes) pointing you to take the left Lane. But drive straight instead. The left Lane, though paved, is not complete yet and passes by the rear gate of Muktadhara and the ramp from the road to the gate is not constructed yet. It's a huge drop for any small vehicle. So, please avoid the left road until completion. For somebody coming in late winter the chrysanthemums will be in full bloom. Just consult with Manager babu over phone before coming with your own vehicle.

We did not stay there but went their for day outing. Points of concern are- 1) The dining area is very poorly maintained. Lots of flies sitting on your food. Coming from a medical background its a perfect combination for diseases. 2) The staff serving in the dining area are poorly dressed and look unhygienic. 3) No one is available to guide someone going there for the first time. I asked the person sitting at reception abt the area and he answered and I qoute "there is nothing here to see around"..I don't know why he answered that way ..may be because I was not staying in their rooms and only went there for outing. 4) Washrooms are poorly maintained for someone going there for a day out. Can't say about the stay there, but someone going there for outing is a NO NO from my side. It's a over rated resort and needs lots of improvement.
