Mugilu - Home Stay in Sakleshpura, Bugadahalli - Hassan, India

We had our eyes on Mugilu for quite some time, and now we know why it's almost always sold out - it's a hidden gem! Located conveniently close to Bangalore, Mugilu impressed us with its breathtaking surroundings, comforting food, and impeccably maintained cottages. The well-spaced cottages provide a perfect blend of privacy and a feeling of seclusion in nature. Special mention goes to the exceptional service, friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff - some of the best we've experienced. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and at ease throughout our stay. Credit for the beautiful preservation and maintenance of the place goes to the owner, Chandan, and his team. Spending three days there was an absolute delight - time seemed to fly by, and we did not want to leave! It's hard to say who enjoyed the experience more - us or our pet dog. He had a blast exploring the property and the surrounding areas. We're already making plans for our next visit - Mugilu has won us over, and we can't wait to be back soon!

Mugilu is a wonderful place to visit if one is looking for some quiet time amidst nature. We visited Mugilu with our pet and the cottage we stayed in was quite spacious and airy. The location is beautiful and the food very delicious. The entire staff is very courteous and helpful. The pets there are very friendly and loving and it was kind of a security ( for our pet dog ) when they accompanied us for our trek down the stream. Will highly recommend Mugilu , for anyone looking for a homestay. Love their concept of no plastics/ bottled water etc. Had some nice conversations with Mr Chandan. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Our 1 night stay was quiet and private, and the rooms, clean and well appointed. Some nice walks possible within and outside the property which we really liked. Main the food is homely, wholesome and tasty. Guddu and the other staff are very professional. Chandan (owner) is a great host and friendly. Overall, a great stay and we highly recommend!

Mugilu is a serene experience amidst nature. Good property, with well maintained rooms. The staff is very friendly and took very good care of us, guided us with local sightseeing too.

Mugilu was one of the best properties we have stayed at. The property surrounded by lush greenery is a pleasant change from the hustle bustle of the city life. The food was top notch and the people are friendly. Will definitely recommend the place.

One of the best impromptu decisions that we've made for a weekend getaway! Mugilu is everything one can imagine and hope for. The cottages are aesthetic and so very clean. The location is apt and surrounded by lush greenery. Service was impeccable and we loved the delicious food too. Felt so much like home. We are definitely visiting again and can't recommend enough to our friends and family :)

Choosing to stay at Mugilu was one of the best decisions I ever made during my visit to Sakleshpur. It's a treat to the soul for nature lovers and the way the property has been planned is phenomenal. The staff was very prompt and courteous and was always ready to help out. We also enjoyed the delicious meals prepared there. We got an opportunity to interact with Mr. Chandan who is the owner of the homestay and it was fascinating to listen to how Mugilu gradually took shape and we left with a lot of inspiration from that. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and nature filled getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Mugilu with our pet. Food was excellent. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend staying here for a quite tranquil stay in a coffee estate which is a bird sanctuary
