Mughal Restaurant - Mughlai restaurant in New Delhi - South, India

We have been ordering food from this restaurant for almost 13+yrs now & we would love to share our thoughts, hope that might help plenty of us..!! Well the food is perfect & delicious, but the rates are on a high side, comparing all over - rest is fine enough.

Recently i came across this restaurant. It's a take away restaurant. No place to dine. But still you can manage to eat by sitting inside car or besides the shop. Chicken sheek kebab was excellent and their roti was ok. Food was neatly packed.

Old school indian food. The tawa masala dishes and tandoor/angithi snacks are awesome. No seating area. More like a sit in your car and eat place. They discourage Car-o-Bar which is a good thing. Next to a cinema hall so the road gets busy.

I've been going to this place for the last 30+ years. The dish to order over here is the Chicken Tikka and Seekh Masala mix. They give it separately but ask them to mix it. The dish is to die for....and have it with Roomali Roti. It's the best Chicken Tikka Masala I've had.

Pathetic service . They are not at all ready to give salad which is basic. Today I am about to give a big order but the way the person talk to me it was rude. This kind of behaviour is not at all acceptable Disappointed

I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre and the service is sleepy! We ordered paneer tikka and soya chaap(both were fine) but the main course was terrible. Dal makhni was bland, Tawa Paneer and Tawa Chicken were too salty and on top of that getting tissue paper was a task. We somehow ate Tawa paneer and tawa chicken and as we had only tasted the Dal, the owner was polite enough to refund it. It was a busy Friday night I get it, but this is the worst service I have ever experienced. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ElSE.

AMAZING...... Mutton Nihari is awesome. Meat is tremendously tender, just melts in the mouth. It is slowly cooked, gravy is thick n the ghee, chilies n ginger garnish savors the dish. It's worth trying. Mutton Changezi is also good.

Amazing food! For non-vegeterian butter chicken, and tawa items are must try. For vegetarians shahi paneer and tawa chap is yummy option. Rotis price are bit on higher side ..but one can manage. Take away is the only disappointing thing. He serves in the car if you want.
