Mughal Darbar restaurant, Arambagh, Chowdhury Market - Restaurant in Arambag - Hooghly, India

Really a good place with good stuffs and obviously very good food. The ambience is eye- catching. The quantity of the food was enough(personal opinion). Overall nice place to hang-out with friends and with family also. But I missed the very special Darbar's Firni on that day.

It is in the Choudhury Market, near Arambagh Bus Stand. It is in the 1st floor. The place is quite spacious, the ambience is really very good but When it comes to taste, it is a bit disheartening. Because, sometime the taste is very poor, sometime the quantity is very low. We had a lot of foods together. In Starter :- 1. Chicken Reshmi Kabab 2. Crispy Chilli Baby Corn. As of taste both were very tasty but as of quantity the piece of chicken in the "Chicken Reshmi Kabab" were literally very small. In main course, we had 1. Biriyani and 2. Mixed Fried Rice with 3. Chicken Masala 4. Chicken Rezalla 5. Chicken Do-Pyaza 6. Chicken Kosha The taste of Biriyani was average, quantity was also average. Mixed Fried Rice was very good. The taste of Chicken Do-Pyaza was good. Chicken Masala and Chicken Kosha was really very appetizing. But The Chicken Rezalla was not at all eatable. The gravy was too thin and it was almost tasteless. At last, we took Phirni in Dessert, which was really scrumptious. So, overall it was an average experience.

This is not the first time that I went to the restaurant, but this is one of my favourite restaurants in Arambagh. Not only the food is tasty, but also the owner of the restaurant is very courteous and friendly. Today I went to the restaurant especially to have a special item that is Haleem, it is a flavourful dal with chicken pieces in it. I love it so much that I over ate today but couldn't resist it. This Haleem is highly recommended. Please do taste atleast once.

The place is nice, food is a 3 . The noodles are good though but the biryani is average and also garlic chicken is sort of okayish...

Chicken biryani was average but chicken 65 was delicious. Price of food was very affordable.

Except biryani huge improvement is needed in all other items. Food was served in deep black plates; plates should be of bright colour.

Food quality and staff behaviour are amazing. One of the best restaurant in Arambagh.

Quantity is very less.. taste of the biriyani is okk..but chicken is not properly cooked..you can get good quantity and quality of biriyani in others places of Arambagh.. Raita is like plain water.. not satisfied.. They charge extra 20 rs for home delivery..
