Nice place to visit with family but only in monsoon i.e between mid July to mid September. Do not swim when water is in heavy force. Cars and Bikes are allowed till bottom of dam. Roads are not so good always. No shops nearby. Villagers are good and helpful. Avoid traveling by two wheeler because of risky roads. Overall best experience.
I can say This place is more amazing than anyother places in india... Lot of surprising views the whole place is covered with waterfall and mountains and dam Easy to reach. It is a back side of vishal gad kolhapur ... But road is from lanja... This dm can also viewable from vishalgad fort... Most comfortable for picknik and overnight camping with full of joy
It's very close to nature. All mountains of Sahyadri are visible from there. As well as the bridge of Vishalgad which was built before any years that was also visible. You should have to visit the dam.
Dam located near Bhambed gaon serves as a tourist spot for localities. The way to the dam is steep and shall test your driving skills. Be careful. When on the dam, please ensure that you are safe as the place does not offer any safety aspects.

Is this place is so nice and cool,beautiful and go this place carefuly because there is sleepary area and many stones so my advice is be careful please don't do it any silly activities and stunts,only enjoy it
It was awesome atmosphere and nature is too good sahyadri range with much water behind vishalgad very nice view of landscape
It takes around 2 hr ride from Ratnagiri city , Its better that if you plan to visit this place please carry your own snack and Best time to vist is during mansoon .
