Overload of best scrumptious food. Your mouth will water looks at the best tasting South Indian food here. MTR has a legacy, and that's taken forward even to date by the staff here. A complete wholesome food. Recommendation: always come empty stomach here, be a the quantity of food is a lottt! High chances one cannot taste everything they serve here. Every food served is best in its taste. Not expensive at all. Good to get your families and friends here.
Fairly surprising that an MTR was right under my nose within JP Nagar and it took so long for me to figure it out. Nevertheless, finally ticked the box today as a food-loving Bengaluru citizen. Definitely is the usual tasty fare, though extremely limited for breakfast. Recommendation is to visit the place late afternoon when the more storied tiffin type items are there. It is a legacy brand now so dont go expecting the fawning service you might get at newer places. In fact service is rather pedestrian by any standards. They dont even accept credit cards! The Chandrahara special on Sundays is a must try even though it is a sugar overdose. As is the Badam Halwa though I've had better. The coffee is one for connoisseurs - no added chicory makes for a unique taste and ideal foil for the sugar indulgence.
The food is reasonably priced. Spacious and well lit ambience, good for morning breakfasts. You can expect a bit of waiting, specially during the weekends, however there is a huge seating area for waiting, so you can get your parents etc as well. The food was quickly served, the service comes with a cute disclaimer to not waste chutneys, which i found was really good to reiterate. The food here is good, when it comes to MTR palette and taste.
One of my favourite places for South Indian food since many years now. They are known for their unlimited thali but I generally prefer their Mini meals (see picture) or other dishes like Masala dosa, Rava idly, or Poori. All of them are amazing, along with quick service. They have preserved their high standards since decades, and I've always had a great experience. Also generally not as crowded as the main MTR Lalbagh outlet, so always end up getting a seat quickly. Highly recommend!
None of the waiters have been trained in hospitality. Treat customers as if they providing free food. Highly recommended not to visit such kind of restaurant who treat customers in rude way.
Decent food decent price. We had benne dosa, akki roti, filter coffee and kesari bath. Everything was good but nothing was remarkable. The dosa not crispy nor soft, I guess some people prefer it that way. I felt that the saggu and chutneys lacked flavour.
Crowded on a Sunday morning. Food was expensive but tastewise just average. Everything was served hot and fresh . But lacked taste . The khara bhath was a tad too salty. Pongal was sour. Dosa crispy but lacked taste. Service was fast. No dedicated parking . Can park on lanes.
Waste of money. Quality of food is not up to the money paid. For dry fruits milkshake we barely see the dry fruits, and it's completely thin shake. Don't visit and waste your time and money. See the uploaded photos. Ambience and service is also worst.

One of the older restaurants in south Bangalore. This is the original Brahmin's coffee Bar. Subsequently many places with same name have started in Bangalore though they are not related. Unlike most other places this restaurant has its own timing - 7
Best taste and service. It's one of my favourite places. Whenever we go to Yelahanka, this is the place we prefer to eat. I hope the employee name is Naveen, he suggests the best choice, listens carefully to the orders and serves as we desire. I reco
Visited here on a Saturday morning. Was quite crowded. Famous spot for breakfast with limited yet tasty menu. We had their Ghee Masala Dosa and Idli Vada with chutney. The Masala Dosa was very crisp with good filling of potato bhajji. Idli Vada was a

My favourite pub in Bangalore. Vast seating, excellent vibe, fantastic food! Great service. It is really sad that this place has closed down. The food is inspired by Karnataka. Cool film inspired decor everywhere. The baked Mysore Pak is most excelle
