MTDC Holiday Resort, Chikhaldara,. Convention Complex - Resort hotel in Chikhaldara - Amravati, India

If I could give is zero stars I would. This was the worst hotel I have had the misfortune of booking in my memory. Rooms were dirty, dim and had an obnoxious phenyl smell. The resort vicinity was not maintained - slides and swings were rusted and broken. We couldn't stay here overnight so we left 1hr after checking in. I would encourage MTDC to close down this resort if they can not run it properly. Chikhaldara is a great tourism opportunity but it is being squandered by a lack of tourism infrastructure. MTDC running sub-standard accommodation just adds to making it less attractive for tourists.

It's a government property, location is best. Friendly staff. Maintenance is on back foot, refrigerator was under maintenance in my vip suite. Midnight Ac also went down due to power short. Technician was is nearby village so not fixed in next one day. Team was gentle enough to offer another room, but it's chikhaldara who needs AC. Overall it's a good experience. Will recommend for groups and couples and families with kids. Food operated by local vendor serves delicious food, you need to tell whatever you need it will be arrangef in hour or two.

Please avoid this stay, no food available at this resort not even tea, no room service one person is managing whole property, no wifi, no working television, room were not managed properly. Disappointing

No maintenance, no proper kitchen. Location is excellent, rooms are very good but needs proper attention which of course as a government facility lacks.

Potential of the property underutilised. Staffed skeletally. Though the service is friendly, it will be stretched if the occupancy reaches 50%

Location of property though in such prime area that absence of other amenities infrastructures that one can be frustrating did not matter with me. Complementary breakfast was promised while booking which was not available in actual. I can hardly blame the sole caretaker caring a single family occupant. Here, booking agency should have been more responsible. I enjoyed my stay in calm and amidst the serene beauty around the lodge. However, one should practically make sure of these beforehand by inquiring personally. I recommend possitve only because I liked the location and built.
