It's a mp tourism authorised shop. Has traditional clothings, bags , showpiece etc.but with limited choices. Good thing is it's location. It's situated on the road side of new market and easily accessible. Prices are on bit higher side though. Behaviour of staff is good but be aware the prices of items printed on them is excluding GST and they will not inform you about this.

Bad experience of visiting this place. People here don't even care to cater customer service and aren't even responsive enough. Who cares about what quality do you keep when you don't even know to how to sell it. Worst of the experience. People sitting here are care less and not hospitable at all.

This store is primarily meant to serve government officials or in other words it blatantly promotes VIP culture. I visited the store on two occasions within a span of a week and did some considerable shopping for a family occasion. The manager refused to give any discount stating a "no discounts" policy. But on both occasions gave a 20% discount to people claiming to be IAS and IPS officers right in front of me. One of the old lady even demanded that discount rather than requesting for it, "aaplog ko toh discount dena he hota hai IAS officers ko". And she was the wife of a retired officer, not one herself. No discount policy by itself is ok, but this VIP culture around it it is hypocritical and unfair to other taxpaying citizens specially since this is a government emporium. Will not be visiting this store ever again in the future. They can serve all the government officials they want.

Good collections. Staffs in the first floor were very courteous and helpful. Staff in the ground floor are quite discriminative . It will be good if they can show the customer the collections from the shelves too, rather than asking them to look the ones in the display only

Great collection of dress material, sarees and Mens Wear. Authentic and quality products. Staff is very cooperative and willingness to interact with customer could be seen and not like other Government outlets. Only concern I could feel is closing time. it's too early at 8 pm. I felt it can be extended till 9 pm.

It is goverment authorised and they do have female staff to assist you with your choices.

I found the sarees to be too pricey. The minimum range was 3500 onwards and that too for normal cotton sarees, not the chanderi silk ones. However, in the second floor, there are handmade artefacts and stuffs like photoframes, wall clocks, notebooks, bags, etc. These were comparatively cheaper and they all had tribal art and paintings.

Nice place ..state clothing like sarees, suits, handicrafts items.if u have good budget for shopping then recommended
