The staff is not at all cooperative. The site does not show any proper sort of details for the bookings. The staff here fool the people There's no reception The amenities are very poor. Untidy rooms. Unclean sheets. Smelly beds. Stains all over the wall. Also the staff is very rude The only thing that is good here is the view of the lake that's all. Coming here was a waste of money and time
Our recent stay at Tawa resort was a memorable one. Location of resort is a plus point.Resort is by the side of Tawa Dam which makes it pleasurable. Resort's architect & ambience is appreciable. Reception people are very helpful & friendly.Specially to mention Manager, Mr.Shamendra Avasthi, FOA:Mr.Vijay Ingle & Mr.Sanjay Kumre. Rooms are good & room service is fantastic.Dam view rooms are more enjoyable. Swimming pool maintenance is very much satisfactory. Kitchen service is excellent. Cook,Mr.Bharat Shahu with assistant Ashok are handling food preparation very nicely. Waiter Akhilesh,Lokesh & Naresh are serving tasty food to customers with smiling face & affectionately.Served excellent fish dishes !Fresh fish from Tawa Dam only. Really enjoyed food with hospitality. Boat safari to parsapani & Madhai both are phenomenal experience.Walking round during evening hours on Tawa Dam is a pleasant moment to evidance beautiful sunset! I highly recommend Tawa resort for peaceful & enjoyable stay with hospitality.
They should have some accessibility facilities for people who cannot climb stairs to go upstairs and dine. That was a major deterrent for my elderly mother. Also the boating is open to all public and even though there is signage mentioning the public aren't allowed in front of the booked room private gardens, it was full of the visiting people and we lost privacy in our rooms. Location is fabulous and the service people are doing their best!
Great experience. Tawa Resort constructed on the Dam of the same name, provide a good getaway and travel destination. Colonial styled rooms provided with all amenities. Boating and Boathouse option also available. Food quality is good.
Tawa resort is set up by Madhya Pradesh tourism on the bank of tawa dam in middle of reserve forest narmadapuram near Itarsi. It was a best stay of my life till now, the view was breathtaking and the sunrise was so heavenly, pool side view was amazing. The food was delicious little less variety in buffet but the taste was yummy it's worth the mention Tea was wonderful. And the staff was so helpful and making your stay comfortable, cosy and hassle free. Also you can take bicycle of resort and rome around explore the stay.

It was a wonderful stay with family. The service is great, especially the restaurant. They serve good food with amazing service. I would recommend it as a weekend gateway to anyone planning a trip near Bhopal or nearby.
This was the resort I visited 4-5 times in my childhood and going there after around 30 years was a nostalgic journey. Amazed to see the hospitality that started before I even reached! They called up to check if I am on the way and offered assistance if any required on the way. Every staff there is very welcoming and polite. Rooms are pretty decent for a Govt aided resort! Food is also reasonably good. Best part is the location overlooking the tawa river with hills in the backdrop. Boat rides are pretty enjoyable too.
