MPT Tapti Retreat, Burhanpur - Resort hotel in Burhanpur - Burhanpur, India

Wonderful experience! Ours was a forced en-route halt from Aurangabad to Indore after sightseeing at Ajanta caves as I don't intend to drive at night. With a little apprehension about Govt accommodation, I drove into this hotel by the side of National Highway. First observation was the ample parking space. Second was a neat lobby. Third was the person at reception - Shri Harish Mehta. He was warm and welcoming. MP Tourism appears to have selected a good employee in him. Next observation was the attendant. Very polite. Hasn't asked his name yet. Ordered tea. It was served hot exactly the way we ordered with less sugar. So I should say the catering here is also responsive. Thought of typing this before wasting time or resting.

I went for a lunch at MPT. Food quality & service both are good. Everything is served fresh. You can also find information brochures about the tourist places to visit in Madhya Pradesh.

Good location and have spacious rooms. Though they required to get it renovated urgently. Staffs are cooperative, good natured and service is very good.

Rooms are good. Washrooms can be more cleaner. The food from their restaurant is really good. Staff is friendly and responsive. Their complimentary breakfast is awesome and delicious. Thank you for the good service.

Poor food quality. Too costly. Please don't visit.

Located right on the main road, can be easily seen in normal traffic conditions. It has ample car park space. Large reception area, waiting area, conference room, and dining room on the ground floor. The rooms are spacious and the staff is very helpful. The food quantity is sufficient and the food is delicious. Must try chicken cutlet over there. Other items to try are Aloo Paratha, Chicken Biryani and Lassi. Food rates are affordable, and even the room rent is competitive. Bath accessories, door locks and electric buttons/lights need upgradation. Some don't work and a few are unclean. Tip- Do check out different rooms before finalizing the room that you want to stay in.
