All MPT hotels have the advantage of strategic placement at premium and quiet locations. Tana Bana is a nicely located MPT hotel right on the highway leading to Chanderi town with nice rooms and well mannered staff. This hotel is just a few kms away from the major tourist sites while remaining in a pristine green area. The room rates are quite reasonable compared to other MPT hotels though the rooms are a bit small. Food quality was again impeccable like all MPT hotels. One interesting gentleman on their staff especially kept us regaled during meals with his stories about the celebs and stars who stayed in the MPT properties during the various Bollywood movie shoots that are happening now in Chanderi.
Chanderi is a small town with so much potential for tourism to rise. Thanks to Stree and Sui Dhaaga films, Chanderi has is gaining popularity now. After my research, I was able to spot tourist places and was so glad to stay at Tana Bana MPT hotel.
Staff is extremely helpful and will treat you like family. Mishra ji, Pappu Ji and Abhishek Panday has been very co-operative. We had an amazing time staying there for 2 days and it was definitely memorable.
Just few things which management can consider - put more light in the bathroom (my room was 205) as it was very much dull, food price is quite high (it is more than Bangalore ;)) which I think should be economical considering the item, labour and logistic cost of Chanderi.
Also, told Abhishek Panday ji to update the contact number of the hotel available on the internet which does not work.
Overall, very good place to stay as all the tourist spots are close by.
Quite and romantic location. Rooms are good with all modern amenities. Very close to Chanderi Fort and othe monuments dotting Chanderi landscape.
