Food concept and experience. The resort has a boar service through which u get the pick and drop at the car parking area. Good place for family and kids where u can enjoy Solitude in the lap of nature. I noticed people complaining about insects, frogs etc... but please understand this is a jungle resort. But the rooms are well maintained and clean and good service and staff. No complaints and my entire family enjoyed the stay

I had made a reservation for three days and two nights, on the 14th and 15th of October with original checkout being planned for 16th morning. But did a noon checkout on the 15th. A day before. My visit included my 83-year-old mother, my wife, and an 8-year-old child. While the location of your establishment is pleasant, I must express my profound disappointment with the quality of service and food. In the cafeteria/restaurant, the tables consistently remained dirty, and the attached restroom was flawed in that it couldn't be closed from the inside, with visible red marks from tobacco spit. They server buffet and the options are very very limited. Any normal hotel would offer you a far better variety then what was on the offerings at Sailani. We opted to order some room service for lunch, as my mother was too fatigued to move, but it didn't arrive until late in the evening, despite several reminders. The entire property is in a state of disrepair, in desperate need of proper maintenance. Your entertainment room featured games like carrom without powder and table tennis with broken bats and balls. This experience felt completely disconnected from what we expected. We paid nearly as much as we would have for a much better experience at any premium property. It is my belief that the change in leadership (new MD joining recently, Mr. Vinod Gontia) has led to a significant decline in the resort's standards. We used to proudly declare that MPT had the best rooms and exceptional service, but sadly, that is no longer the case. Basic expectations such as staff refraining from spitting tobacco on the property, and maintaining cleanliness in the rooms and restaurants, are not being met. This experience has left me highly disappointed. Please be advised that there is nothing much to do there and the hotel team too isn't too prompt to help you with planning your day better.

My experience at MPT Sailani Tapu Island Resort was good overall, though there were a few things that could have been improved. Firstly, the food did not match up to our expectations in terms of taste. Secondly, the cleanliness of the premises could have been better, as there were areas that appeared to be unclean and untidy. Thirdly, the indoor game zone did not have enough lighting, which made it difficult to play indoors. However, the scenery was beautiful and the view of the water was amazing. The greenery around the resort premises could have been maintained better and their outdoor activities need maintenance. Overall, I would recommend this resort for a short stay, considering the beautiful location and the availability of several activities. However, there is definitely a scope for improvement in terms of hygiene, maintenance and culinary experience.

Worth every penny. Had an amazing experience at this MPT property. The location, sights and food was amazing. We were 20 people all together and all of them enjoyed at their best. Water sports is worth doing. The hotel manager and rest of the staff made sure that our stay should be amazing and they all were very cooperative with our needs. We all were a very young group so we were welcomed by the hotel as their own children. Rooms were amazing. We will surely be visiting the resort again and will reco.mend our family and friends for the same.

Excellent Location. Average services. Average taste of food. Poor Food Menu. Very Poor Maintenance of property. I visited this property second time. Earlier maintenance and taste of food was good, but now it is very poor. Being at an island you don't have any other food choices. Also please carry all necessary medicines and other stuff.

Good place for a short trip, family gathering and also for couples...

Good resort . Has to add on facilities like swimming, boating, few games and a good reading room. Food was very good , a little hot with extra chilli. When pointed out the chef made food of our choice which is good. To go to the carpark shore by boat one has to spend Rs600 Which is costly. Mr Dubey, resort GM and his team are great ever willing to serve the guests. Kudos to them. A little extra look into cleaning of the room may go a long way
