MPT Jhankar,Khajuraho - Resort hotel in Khajuraho - Chhatarpur, India

The rooms are spacious, and the hotel has good facilities. The garden view outside is pretty nice. The porch has parking capacity of around 8-9 cars. The hotel has a separate park for children with swings. Still gave 4 stars because the geyser wasn't functioning, our room had twin beds, the flush had issues, the TV was too small for the room and audio was bad. Wanted to give 4.5 but Google has no option. Rest everything is nice. It's hardly 1km from the Western Group of Temples which can be covered on foot. The food is great, service is quick and the staff is extremely helpful. Since it is under MP tourism, the rates are reasonable and VIPs frequent the hotel. We made a special request to pack breakfast on the day of checkout and they obliged it. The packet was delivered right on time! Special requests for children's menu are also accommodated.

The stay was comfortable and the facilities at the hotel are moderately excellent. The location is superb and near to the Archeological survey of India site at Western group of temples. It is at walking distance from the Hotel. The room was kept clean and with adequate arrangements. The food ordered was served freshly prepared and tasty. The reception staff and other service staff were very cooperative and were making good efforts to make our stay comfortable. We shall definitely visit here again.

Clean and cosy hotel, by far the best we had seen in India. But one night they decided to start to repair something in the restaurant kitchen, very loud banging lasted until 3 am. Sleepless night indeed. But they offered a different room in opposite direction and a proper discount for next 2 nights, so we stayed and didnt regret at all.

I would say Ok type. The staff is good, good parking space. The location is just a km away from the western group of temples and markets. The issue we faced the bed was not at all as per 3-star standards specially the mattress. The geyser was not working, flush was faulty.

Lovely place to be You need atleast 2-3 sessions to see all the temples with a good guide See the sculpting with an open mind & you will surely have a different picture of khajuraho & kama Sutra The intricacies of sculpting are mind blowing Something that has lasted for over a thousand years It's beyond your imagination & can't be explained easily. Worth a visit in your life time. Overall another great stay at an MPT hotel mainly due to their strategic placement at premium locations and excellent hospitality. Hotel Jhankar is situated just a km or so from the Western group of temples in Khajuraho. The property is very green with ample parking space. Rooms were spacious and well lit with natural light due to large french windows. One of the rooms given to us had a slight musty smell. We did not complain as it was just a one night stay and we were roaming around most of the time. Food is good and service is prompt and well managed.

rooms r very neat and clean, room service is very good....really the food is very delicious especially North Indian food....kitchen staff is very humble and caring
