The coolest staff I ever had on a hostel! Everyone is so cool, friendly and helpful. They are not just staff, they become friends! Hostel full of activities you can join - tours, concerts, games, local celebrations... Rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. Amazing rooftop, always with something happening and the food from their restaurant is really, really good.

This is probably the best hostel I've stayed in and overall experience. The staff are incredibly helpful, kind and down to earth. The rooms are clean and simple and have everything you need. The bathrooms and showers are clean and simple. I like cold showers especially in 35 degree heat so that was perfect for me. The rooftop terrace is a beautiful place to hang out any time of the day with views all around Jodhpur and green plants for a living nourishing environment. There is a variety of chilled music playing in the background. I chose this hotel because of the reviews and the vibe portrayed by the images. They lived up to expectation and more. I booked 3 nights originally and ending up staying 6 nights. That's a testament to the overall experience. The Bishnoi half day trip is well worth it. Along with the baari restaurant on the rooftop. There are several places to chill out including a large cushioned area to wind the midday heat away with a nap. Also board games and a hammock. The walking tour is worth doing. The staff taking you are lovely and funny. This hostel attracts a certain kind of person irrespective of where they are from. It's a multicultural meeting pot. I've made life long friends here. I'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a value for money all round experience and solid safe place to explore Jodhpur sites from. Thank you. Happy travels.

I had an amazinggggg time at Moustache! The property was great, the crowd was good, cleanliness was top-notch, food in the hostel cafe was also amazing! This is the best hotel I've visited so far. What made the visit special was the hospitality. The management was really welcoming and engaging. Chelsea was super sweet and Raj was extremely fun! I even went on the blue city tour hosted by Raj and he took us to amazing spots. Going alone wouldn't have been nearly as much fun! Highly recommended!

Our dorm.was comfortable and the vibe nice. We alsommade use of the self catering facilities - basic, but just enough. They also do a relaxed walking tour of the blue part of town - Raj was amazing as the leader and a funny guy - the tour included watching sunset from.a rooftop cafe - beautiful.

My experience at Moustache Hostel in Jodhpur was nothing short of disappointing, primarily due to the restaurant's abysmal service and outrageously expensive food. The behavior of the restaurant staff was, without a doubt, the worst I've encountered in my travels. Their attitude was nothing short of appalling. Instead of making guests feel welcome and valued, they seemed determined to make us feel like an inconvenience. This hostile behavior left a lasting negative impression on my stay. Adding to the frustration was the exorbitant pricing of the food. I understand that some tourist destinations may have slightly higher prices, but what Moustache Hostel charged was downright unjustifiable. The cost of a simple meal felt like highway robbery, and it made me question the hostel's commitment to providing fair and reasonable services to travelers. In summary, my visit to Moustache Hostel in Jodhpur was marred by the restaurant's terrible service and the jaw-droppingly expensive food. I strongly advise fellow travelers to look for alternative dining options in the city to avoid the disappointment and frustration that I experienced during my stay.

Hostel and staff are nice. I'm just annoyed by the Rikscha driver that was recommend by hostel staff. We agreed with a price and as soon as we arrived at the trainstation he wanted more.

The overall 2/5 score for this hostel is mainly due to a recommendation we received at the front desk. Throughout our travels in India we chose highly rated hostels as they're helpful with things like travel support and recommendations. We wanted some support booking train tickets from Jodhpur to Delhi however we were told at Moustache they could not help us with this and they recommended a nearby travel agency - 'RTW (Round the World) Holidays'- which was initially fine with us. However we ended up having a very bad train experience as a result. We were sold tickets, being told that it would be a private cabin (max 4 persons with beds next to each other). We ended up at 12:30 A.M in an approx 80 person carriage (predominantly male) with seats that were not beside each other. The main reason I'm reviewing hostel is because I would strongly discourage guests from using this agency as we were sold tickets under false pretences, and I believe staff should not recommend either to ensure guests don't have the same experience. Other than that, the location was ideal and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly. There were some other issues though, there was a malfunctioning main light that was not fixed despite staff being aware it was broken on our arrival (strobe light effect). There was also no blinds and the windows are quite thin, meaning lots of noise at night and early in A.M. There was also a smell of animals in the room as there are animals tied up right outside.

One of the best places for an affordable stay in any city.. I didn't at all expect that their service would be so awesome. Their staff is so good..especially the guy at Reception Mr. Sumer. He is such a nice person who takes care of your needs at any time.. he is very cooperative and well behaved person. In short Moustache is an outstanding place and it made my stay in Jodhpur memorable.
