Moustache Jaisalmer - Backpacker Hostel in Jaisalmer - Jaisalmer, India

I recently spent three days at Moustache Hostel with my six friends and overall, it was a memorable experience. The hostel is located with a view of the fort and free from traffic with walkable distances to major spots. Upon arriving early, the staff provided us access to the common area, which we were able to enjoy even after our check-out. The staff members, especially Abhishek, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had joined for their Diwali celebration and engaged in making Rangoli. We had booked for their dessert camping package and it offered mixed experience. The folk dance and dinner were delightful. But, the jeep safari raised safety concerns, impacting our overall enjoyment. Additionally, the state of the toilets in the camp was disappointing, lacking the cleanliness. The hostel's cafe has a basic menu and became our go-to spot for late breakfast and evening snacks. While the overall cleanliness of the hostel was satisfactory, the toilets seemed to be not well-maintained.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Moustache Jaisalmer and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. They were quick to assist with any inquiries or requests I had, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring Jaisalmer. The amenities provided were of top-notch quality, adding to the overall comfort and convenience of my stay. One of the highlights of staying at Hotel Moustache Jaisalmer was the lively and vibrant atmosphere. It truly felt like the most happening place in Jaisalmer. The common areas were always buzzing with activity, creating a wonderful sense of community among guests. The hotel's camping tour plans were nothing short of amazing. They offered unique and exciting experiences, allowing guests to truly immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of Jaisalmer. Overall, my experience at Hotel Moustache Jaisalmer was outstanding. The staff's warmth and hospitality, coupled with the hotel's cleanliness and vibrant atmosphere, made for an unforgettable stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

Really good location. I would suggest because you are out of the fort (5mins) which means so much less hassle to buy things from the moment you're out of the place. If you stay in the fort it's less walking but non stop hassle. The hostel itself is small but more than comfortable. I didn't stay anywhere else in Jaisalmer but for the hassle free exit alone it's worth it. Understand the locals are just trying to make a living (respect) but also it's a factor. Enjoy your travels!

Such a beautifully designed hostel. It reflects the heritage and culture of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer Fort and some known places are just few minutes walk away. The hostel staff was friendly and ensures to serve you the best hospitality. They offer tours for desert safari and night stay under the sky. That was the highlight of my trip. It was amazing to just move away from all the chaos and do star gazing. This tour also gave me the chance to interact with the locals and eat some food cooked over chulah.

The rooms are very comfortable and aesthetically designed. I loved the common area too. The food that they serve is absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the desert safari that they offer. The staff is very friendly and reliable. Had a great time!

Si vous voulez sejourner juste a cote du fort et eviter l'affaissement en y dormant, Moustache est une excellente alternative a 5 minutes a pied de l'entree du fort. Belle etape pour routard avec un patio central agreable et un rooftop qui donne sur le fort. Neanmoins les chambres quoique belle ne sont pas nettes. Service lent

A great experience with Moustache Jaisalmer. The owner of the franchise, Mr Abhishek takes personal interest in assisting all his guests and ensures they get the best experience of the fort town and the desert beyond the town. The hostel boasts of all the necessary facilities for travellers and is a great place to view the beautiful Jaisalmer Fort

I really liked the place. It gives you a feel of local houses with luxury as it is in 200 years old haveli made up of local sand stones. I would like to go back again and would recommend anyone to book it blindly. Location is also perfect and Staff is very polite.
