Friendly vibes,great Ambiance, open area to chit chat with co-hostelers so I would definitely recommend Youngsters and those who love to interact with a crowd of different cultures and age groups to choose this place. Though they have refurbished the house and converted it into a beautiful place which you will get to know as soon as you enter. Decorated walls with mandala art and colorful hangings made this place even more beautiful.
Nice Hostel located right in the center of Varanasi a coupe of minutes away from some of the main ghats. I slept in a 14 people dorm, it was clean with AC and personnal lockers (bring a lock). The bathrooms and toilets are common but it was clean. And the nicest part is the rooftop areas where you can lay-in or order food if you want to. Overall a good experience !
Good hostel with very friendly staff. The cleanliness of the shared bathrooms could be better maintained. There are items, hairs and soaps everywhere laying around and the exhaust fan is moldy.
In a room of 14 there was one AC not working properly when it was 45 degrees outside. Refill of water can and all remained an issue. The higher rating is because of the vibe at the rooftop, but the management really needs to look into the basics. Rest, staff and everything is great. Just leaving this review for the management to introspect and better.
I Thoroughly enjoyed my last 4 days in Moustache Varanasi I planned my trip for 2 days but ultimately extended to another 2 days for the vibe of the hostel... I would have never imagined talking whole night at common room on a solo trip to having fun memories and making friends... Well disciplined staffs, good cleaning in frequent intervals then & there and hygienic. I will surely recommend to my connects and will visit again in the near future. I must say about the common room, the vibe it shared with people sharing there travel experiences to watching cricket matches playing games and just laying around over a conversation... Staff Yash - Great Hospitality, good human, well disciplined, completely supportive/helpful/respectful/kind and go to person and even he was always there , infact he made the whole itinerary for me, and recommended many places... Thanks to the di who made tea and maggi and parathas... Last but not least Mayank the owner is such a cool person who was sitting with us over a conversation Kudo's & Best Wishes and THANK YOU for everything. Mahadev

Very nice hostel with lovely staff. Some of them speak a very good english, helpful; some don't but everyone is very nice. Dorms are cute, clean washroom, aircon works well. Only one problem that for me was quite a thing: MUSIC EXTRA LOUD on from the morning to 23 in the night. No one wanted it, people couldn't speak. Please stop forcing people to listen to loud music in hostels!!!
Guess what, I found a mouth piece on my bed the first time I laid on my top bunk bed. There were also some used table napkins so I wonder if my bed was really clean. During my first day, the attached toilet was really dirty. But greatly improved the day after it was cleaned by the staff. Wifi here needs to be improved. Add more routers to the 2nd floor as it does not work well inside the dorm room and the balcony common area.
Clean and friendly, great location! Wonderful Western style mattresses! Everything is new. Great cafes just around the corner (Mark's and Open Hand). Staff is kind and helpful. I am a woman traveling alone, and i delt very safe here.
