If you want to try traditional ghadwali food then this is a place to visit. Prices are also reasonable. There is a small river flow on the back of the place. It is a simple restaurant do not expect ambience or high quality service. However, the owner is very courteous.

Stopped at khadi by chance for a cup of tea and came across this place.. Its a beautiful cafe /restaurant which is promoting the pahaadi food for which is honestly quite scarce. Loved the samosa there! Will visit again soon.

This place called 'Samoon ' is run by a self-help group of women . They serve local dishes and also fusion dishes like momos n samosas with local ingredients like buckwheat flour and lentils. This place has a library that contains books written by indigenous n local authors. #vocal for local.

We were enroute to Haridwar from Devprayag Via Gaja as we where driving along the villages we kept asking for local cuisine restaurant but all we got is negetive reply. As soon as we touched highway we saw this restaurant at first glance it seemed to be a costly one as it was giving a vibes of some costly cafe but we gave it a chance as we were running out of options and time. We waited for sometime as soon as food was served it took us to other tangent. It was soothing, mesmerizing and the service never felt like a restaurant it was like home. Relished it to the bottom of my heart

I really appreciate the idea behind its foundation which is pahadi culture.Its really nice to have your own cultural taste in different ways . Like you can have mandve(mNddve) ke momos . Its such a nice place to have your meal peacefully . If you want a healthy and an interesting meal , then you should really go and give it a try .
