Never go in summer, very hot,some rooms are without fan,evening time u can't open d window because of various types of insects,only good thing is d rooftop dining space.service is poor.

The Homestay is OK. Good rooms with miniature washrooms, though with all amenities. The visitors better carry their own good quality tea bags, coffee pouches etc since every room has electric kettle. Ambience of rooftop restaurant is excellent, quality of food very good, taste passable. The location is quite far and finding it is absolutely tricky. Our driver from Darjeeling got lost. In darkness, our entire party was feeling very frustrated and tensed. Sound level emanating from the owners' rooms on the ground floor was quite unpalatable.

If you want budget homestay with beautiful view of the tiger hills and away from city life and traffic of Darjeeling Along with awesome customer service, then congratulations then you are at right place... People of this homestay will provide you good and delicious local food + if you want to cook yourself then they will provide kitchen and othe stuffs They have a terrace part and a bonfire system at night...which feels amazing. One can barbeque there and have some awesome time. Highly recommended homestay for staying outskirts of Darjeeling. (12 km approx)

This place is sparkling clean and rooms are spacious with serene views. Staffs and owner are extremely helpful. Food is great here especially rotis. Although order your food very specifically as they sometime make more food than you order. Beds bathroom everything is clean. You can reach easily here by car from Darjeeling. Its right inside Badamtam tea estate. If you want to visit tea garden just go out of your stay and you will be in the tea garden

The place is located at a considerably lower altitude than Darjeeling city. In cloudy weather, there is no good view at all. No nearby tourist place is also there. Though local drivers would pitch for Rangeet river that flows between WB & Sikkim. You would have to come to Darjeeling for good restaurants & other amenities. Hotel is located in a dingy place surrounded by small local buildings. One half shut down Goodrick tea factory is also there. Ground floor rooms are awful especially the toilets! Some of the toilets are placed below the stair & you can't even stretch your hand while bathing. Remaining toilets so narrow that your back would definitely touch the wall while bathing. No exhaust is there inside toilets. So all the toilets are "naturally ventilated". 3rd floor bedrooms are also naturally ventilated & no ceiling fan are there & no ACs. In May rooms place was not cold & they arranged for floor mounted fans. Bed linens & towels are not clean but you would find good electronic gadgets inside the rooms. Foods are ok type. But they serve in small quantity. You would always have to ask for 2nd help. 3rd help is not applicable even if you are hungry. Support staffs are ok. The place is located in such a remote area, local drivers may charge you extra as you don't have other options. Drivers would constantly misguide you. 3/4 hours after checking out, the hotel manager called me up & told that one tv remote & one 3 pin plug are missing !! The manager called me 10 times & another 7 to 8 times to our drivers (local drivers from badamtamarea) !! We decided to send one of our 3 pin plugs & 100 rupees as "compensation" through the local drivers. We booked 4 rooms. Total booking amount for 2 days was 43000/-. Compare the booking amount with the price of 3 pin plug & remote !! But If you are a "TRUE" nature lover, the factors would not affect you

Worst Hotel ever! Such a bad experience . No room heater, no hot water. We have to adjust on their timing for hot water. If the room heater gets out of service then they won't change it. Worst Hotel in Darjeeling. Also there is no restaurant. Food is served cold in room. There is no staff at night. Waste of money.

The room that I got was very dirty...washroom was completely soiled and the behaviour of the hotel caretaker was deplorable.. I would request the owner of this homestay to teach basic manners and hospitality to the caretaker. The staff are well behaved and food is okay.. No provision of wi fi so will become very difficult to communicate because mobile network is very weak at this remote location.The approach road is very bad and we were about to miss our flight because a car had got stuck in the road the previous night.I will definitely not recommend this to my friends .

View of Kanchanjanga and other ranges very good from rooftop dining place. Food quality OK. Rooms OK. Very delayed food service... Order taking and delivery in a mess. Almost 30+ minutes from Darjeeling.. Down Lebong Road. Got stuck in darjeeling traffic while coming back.
