Mount Valley Mama Cottage - Cottage in Rishikesh - Tehri Garhwal, India

Amazing experience here as already rishikesh is so beautiful and when I visited this place it was so clean , the service by staff members was also so satisfying. The bathrooms were clean as well . Also the best thing about this place was that it was not as expensive as other places in rishikesh. They also provide room service and it was really quite good at my time. Also if you ask for help they provide you with what you have asked for .. and guide as well specially for the first time visitors. Their overall ambience was really heart touching and I had one of the best memories here in this cottage. Also They are very grounded and they make you feel like you are at home. Or never left one

The family who owns are great people, taking care of the place with such care. Everything clean, quite, safe, with good wifi and available drink water. Recommend!

This place is lovely. The room we stayed in was big, bright and clean and had a balcony outside. The bed was comfortable too. The location is great as it is quieter than a lot of other places in the area. The owner was lovely and very welcoming.

Be careful before book this property They are very rude about his profession , They Don't know how to talk with Guest, Rooms are not clean and Service also are very bad

I stayed with this family with one month while doing a yoga teacher training course. They were incredibly kind to me and I am so grateful. They made sure I had a quiet room, drove me to an atm so I could get money to pay them, they even drove me over an hour to Dehradun to catch the bus. Would highly recommend staying with his family while in Rishikesh!

Checked out today.. hosts are very nice and polite people with good heart.. this property run by a family and all are cery nice. Also very budget friendly and we stayed two days and totally enjoyed the stay. I recommend to book ac room in summer. The location is also very nice and you get good cafe, restaurant and yoga and massage center in next compound. Totally worthy

Very nice, clean and lively place for all kinds of travellers whether solo, couple, family etc. The rooms especially Aircon ones are top notch at reasonable price. It's in hilly place called tapovan which is about 10 min walks from ganga ji. And yes the place is pet friendly too. (Only if your pet is calm and peaceful) Latest Update: I have been frequent visitor of this homestay. But recently his services had been degrading and prices are increasing. On my last visit he gave us dirtiest room of all despite informing him in advance of our arrival. When confronted his excuse was that it was season time. It was September 2022. Even then also the cleaner guy who afterwards cleaned it acting as if he was doing "ehsaan" (favour) on us. Needless to say the room was still not cleaned since his cleaning process was also "ehsaan". Even after all this inconvenience the hotel owner had the audacity to charge the absurd pricing citing the same "season time" lame excuse. Anyway for future I would be avoiding this since the only reason we were staying here was I was visiting here with my cat. I am sure there were ither properties in Rishikesh which allow pet cat.

Amazing place, clean room, very nice hosts. No, super nice hosts! I highly recommend this place, coming here every time I'm visiting Rishikesh. It's a bit away from the centre, but it's actually good, because here you can rest properly from all this craziness. A lot of cool places around to eat, drink and exchange money. Mama is an amazing person and even only meeting her is a pleasure :)
