The historic church was rebuilt in the year 2000.The beautiful church, accessible both by a road and a waterway. I was at this place for a wedding and I had the opportunity to visit this beautiful church. I met someone at the church who told me that their 86 yer old mother remember her grandfather talking about this church when she was small. A tradition backed by more than 300 plus years. The present church is a renovated one. The bell tower of the old church and some stories related to the bell tower is popular among the locals and old people. The spiritual cultural of the place is influenced by the church. The church is a classic church with wooden tables and chairs and beautiful glass paintings. The construction is like the old traditional Christian style. Beautiful in design and influencing the cultural & spiritual atmosphere of a town.

Not much of a historical importance. But a great Church to visit... Having a wonderful outside ambiance and well kept surroundings and clean place..... Excellent Interior design... its a must see place...

Beautiful church, melodious service. Visited on a Sunday for mass on our visit to Alleppey. The church has a lovely structure, a grotto of Mount Carmel and a nice surrounding space.

This is more one of the most spiritual places in Alappuzha. It's located at west of Alappuzha town. There is an auditorium near the church. Many events such as wedding receptions, holy communion parties etc.
