I Won't recommend buying food from here if you have the time to walk or drive 400m to the next restaurant/bakery. The place is crowded most of the time and there's a really good chance for you to get sick because 70% of the people in the hospital depend on the hospital Canteen which means it's NEVER A GOOD PLACE TO TAKE YOUR KIDS. The food here is too average and basic, yeah it's a hospital canteen but could be better. The service here is decent. The pricing is crazy. Every little item here is expensive when compared to other food canteens or restaurants. Better not to buy drinks and juices. Should be more hygienic.

Had a evening snacks/tea stopover at Moulana Hospital Canteen while driving back to Palakkad from Manjeri via Perintalmanna. It is located inside Moulana Hospital Complex in Ootty Road, but accessible from main road too, for public. Easily locatable and accessible. Veg & Non Vegetarian dishes served here. Had a coffee and snacks from here, coffee was good, snacks were average quality, and with below average hospitality/service. The seating arrangements and interior ambience is similar to any regular hospital canteens. Service should be improved little more and also take care of cleanliness.
