A beautiful architecture place with simple Mughal architecture. It has 3 levels.. On lower level, there are Hamas, water directly coming from central pond. Well maintained and repaired by State Archeaological Department, Here, we met very interesting person Mr. Mahaveer Sharan Jharia, who works here as an watchman. He is much interested in knowledge, knowing, learning about places, people, stories, history and works overtime as a guide! Hes very pleasant, curious, enthuciast and ready to share whatsoever information he's about this place. Genrally people are not happy with their job, post, responsibility but this man is exceptionally different. It was really nice taking with a good human being.

One of the Best Places to be around for tourists in Mandla. Although the ASI is not looking at it properly the place still holds a great history and value. A lot of stories revolve around the Mahal and not only this there are 2 other Mahals in the vicinity itself. The main thing to visit this place is to see the beautiful architecture they've made. There are 3 storeys visible from the main entrance and also people say that there are 3 storeys below the ground. But unluckily those under storeys are blocked because of some mishaps caused by the old architecture which wasn't maintained properly. Also a lot of people were lost . So beware don't try stunts or going from doors which are locked. You may never know where you'll end up. Tip: Carry a torch and a whistle always while visiting such places and keep your Children's close to you. Have fun travelling
Beautiful place located around 20 kms from mandla...a historical page which needs to be placed on the tourist map of madhya pradesh...it is well maintained by archeological survey of India... approach road is good... you can consider this place for a day outing !!!
Moti Mahal is one of the best attraction in Ramnagar..The Architecture is mesmerizing..the Inside pond is dry now but it is still beautiful..the Mahal has a secret passage to Madan Mahal in Jabalpur as per conspiracy theories..the underground rooms are dark and some has bats.. please beware.. recommend to visit..
Beautiful 17th century palace built by the Gond kings at Ramnagar. The palace is situated on a hillock overlooking the Narmada river. It is maintained by the ASI but there is room for improvement. However walking through the hallways of this once splendid palace is fascinating none the less. It is said to have an underground tunnel that connects it to Madan Mahal in Jabalpur hundreds of kilometers away. There is no entry fee and the security staff are very helpful and can happily give you a guided tour steeped in history and legend.
Huge fort built in 2.5 days (told by the guide) .. not well maintained.. but if u r passing this area do visit.. it helps promote local tourism
