Moti Mahal - North Indian restaurant in Faridabad - Faridabad, India

I recently dined at Moti Mahel Family Restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The delicious food served here left me craving for more. What truly set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

The place was average and food was good, sitting arrangements were well organized although the vibes were not so alive and the service was also not top notch , you need to tell them every minimal thing you need. If you just want food do give a try and ignore other bad services

It's unfortunate that the main staff displayed such behavior, making us feel uncomfortable and demanding extra tips. Treating customers poorly is unacceptable, and it's understandable that I wouldn't recommend this place to others. Self-respect is important, and everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness when dining out.

Place is nice for sweets & fine dining. Banquet is also adequate to host small to large functions here. They server delicious food and location is also easy to locate. 1 Star Rating * (Post Covid in 2022) Had a worst experience today. Visited for lunch with family. Kids called it 'Makkhi Mahal' as flies were around each table and were spooling the food. The food was cold esp Noodles. It was overall not a pleasant lunch experience today. 4 Star Rating **** (Before Covid in 2019) A pure vegetarian family restaurant to enjoy tasty Indian dishes. Authentic taste with fresh ingredients. Nominal rates. The restaurant shares the floor with Moti Mahal sweets, a varieties of mouth watering sweets etc. outside of it, the chaat counter also attracts visitors. Located at very common location of Sector 16 shopping complex, restaurant is quite busy in evening, a wait time of 20-30 mins is expected during peak hours. If you are planning to join with a larger group say 10-15 people, recommended to book your table and be in time there. During peak hours, the table service will be bit delayed as compared to non peak hours.

Bad food , high headed owner (he was standing across our table, we called him so that we could address our complaint. He refused to come n instead sent his waiter to the table). The waiter too in return spoke arrogantly when we told him about slow service. We asked for ice cubes, he gave a piece of ice which was bigger than the mouth of the glass of soft drink. To our utter surprise, he said that the ice will melt inside the glass only , and that's how we should drink the soft drink that we ordered. We still haven't finished our food, and a waiter comes n starts removing the plates to allow another customer to join our table.

The billing counter person (he is an old person , I don't know his name ) has very bad behaviour, he don't know how to talk with the customer, he talks in a very rude and sarcastic way. He kept some gunda also, they are promoting all kind of absurd language with customers like full pledege gunda gardi at that shop.I just asked him to give good packaging after taking the sweets (kajju katali ) for my two boxes 1kg and half Kg (almost the price was -1300) but he denied to do similar packing for all the boxes and start yelling that is not possible .i will request to all customers, please avoid to do visit at that place ( sector -16huda market) or better don't request him to do packaging, and In all this, I am grateful for the insight of her daughter for understanding my problem

Rude staff, unhygienic place and the owner doesn't care. Went here multiple times for dine in, delivery and hosting functions. It just keeps on getting worse everytime. Last time we found an insect in gulab jamun but there was no action. A sad state of affairs.
