Moti Jharna Waterfall - Tourist attraction in Darkala - Sahebganj, India

Surrounded by hills and forests this place is a gem for the adventure lovers. The waterfall is at 10 minutes walking distance from the parking place. At the hill base beside the waterfall there is a temple of lord Shiva where you have to crawl after entering to go near the sculpture. This is a safe place to take bath under the waterfall as the bathing place is made of concrete. The water is pretty cold. Overall I had a memorable experience.

It's one of the prime attractions especially in the monsoon season when the waterfall is in its full bloom. In the month of Srawan devotees of Lord Shiva come here from all around the nearby areas. It's very green, calm and peaceful.

The view was awesome.The natural beauty heals your state of mind and gives a refreshing feel ever experienced before.

Such a beautiful place. Romantic place in Jharkhand. All types of food shops are available in the Moti jharna area. Also here have a Shiv Mandir for puja. Shiv mandir under the Moti jharna cave.

Beautiful waterfall surrounded by mountains and greenary... Mind relaxing place..

This place is fabulous and best scenery of water fall and the best view of nature.

Good place. Very good scenic beauty. A very tall and beautiful waterfal. With a Shiva temple. You can take your car near the waterfall. There will be less than a kilometer walking between waterfall and car parking area. Paid car parking is available. Road condition is OK near waterfall. A two lane road. Few 5-10 kilometer Road is in bad condition. But good hotels are not available near by. Carry foods. Evening time and early morning time is good to visit. Winter time is good to visit.

I recently visited right after a heavy rain, and the view of the waterfall was incredibly refreshing and visually captivating.
