Great staff and services. It is very close to the gate so no need to care for parking your car. There is parking on the property. They have generators in case of power cut off. Good network

Rooms are clean but wash basin broken..also not individual geyser in every bathroom. Food is also not so good. Sometimes you to eat palak paneer from morning in the dinner also. The packed breakfast is very filmsy. The aloo patanthas was not eatable after getting cold.

Room was good . Location was prime just beside Khatiya gate. Food was good. But they were bit profesional. They will only help regarding safari iff you book full gypsy through them. They will not entertain you that much if you book sharing safari or canter Safari.

The place offers a pleasant experience with a friendly staff, a peaceful atmosphere, and convenient proximity to a forest, just a 5-minute walk away. It is definitely an affordable and enjoyable destination.

Owner Mr. Dinesh Makhija is a wonderful host. His staff are well trained. Rooms are Well maintained. I give 100 marks out of 100. A homely treatment in all aspect.

Excellent location and service. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. Food ok, if you like lot of masala veg preparations. The owner is always available and extremely courteous. Overall a fantastic experience One suggestion, please use reusable cutlery and plates etc for packed breakfast. Avoid giving bottled water. Encourage tourists to carry their own water bottles or invest in glass bottles that you can reuse. Inform people that plastic water bottles are definitely more harmful to us and the environment. Since you are so close to the forest, pollution is a huge concern for all. Especially since you depend totally on the forest for your income. So a healthy forest is good for you and all!!

*Wildlife at it's best is at Kanha & Excellence in stay is at Motel Chandan* The moment the plan got seeded, I reached out to Mr. Dinesh Makhija and that was one of the best decisions that I took. Not only he helped with rooms booking but also helped with Jabalpur pickup drop, safari booking and his tips and suggestions were golden. The booking process was smooth and so was the entire experience. I will summeriz it as follows: Location of resort : The best The staff : Very courteous, helpful and smiling Rooms : Very well maintained, beautifully decorated, comfortable and convenient Pickup drop : Very good car and driver Pappu bhaiya was nice Safari Gypsy : Well maintained and equipped. Very convenient for photography for sure. Driver Kailash - Very well versed with the forest and and one of the best to show you wild life at it's best. He knows the vibes of the animals and takes split second decision to make your experience dream like. Food : Yummy every single time. Their chef deserves special mention as he served really good food for lunch & dinner. This trip gave us some unforgettable moments and I am already looking forward to the next one at Kanha and for sure I will choose Motel Chandan every single time.

Owner is too rude and not supported at all, we booked the 2 premium rooms but he gave only 1 premium n second room was under interior phase and as per owner that is premium room.. but when we asked for the change of room he denied and said this is the room he has in premium category.. after so much arguments he charged less as for that room.. food quality also not good.. overall bad experience with this hotel.. only good part was location is very near to khatia gate. After owner post - It is not amount for the room, owner lied about room, and was not at all willing to help and gave rude answers. If amount was problem we would had booked two premium rooms. We sacrifiseld the comfort,plus mood off on day 1 of trip Do u expect to search rooms at night??even after prior booking We travel a lot and never experienced such behavior. Secondly We reached lated n were sitting for dinner in lawn till 12 am not 2 am. We were not at all rude to anyof your staff, infact you were rude with us Thirdly U denied to take online payment as you need to pay GST for this and you never demanded to pay half amount in cash and half online you always demanded full cash amount even though there were no ATM s nearby we had to go searching for cash everywhere where we got late by almost 2hours.Eventhough knowing the fact that we are getting late for our future journey you were not cooperative So sir we request you to please stop giving false allegations on our group your CCTV footage is proof that we didn't party till 2 as were suppose to wake up early for safari as well. I humbly request you to respect your guests .We are frequent travellers and had never experienced such hospitality from any owner.
