Good Big Church. Easy accessibly from main road. The roof of the church is said to be constructed with a single ceiling without any beams. Good thing is that they allow to take cameras and even more surprising was that they allow people with slippers inside. You can enjoy the atmosphere if you go on a non-crowded day. Sunday's are usually very crowded. Overall nice experience.

May is the month of mother Mary. We went there as family during the weekend. I must admit that the crowd is so huge. It took 20 mins to walk from the main church to beach. Getting rooms was also difficult. It is advisable to book rooms prior when you are visiting there during holidays. However it's all worth it when you get to attend the morning mass (7.30 am on Sundays at lower basilica- Tamil) and put your requests to mother mary. The street shopping is great there too.

Very popular among tourists & pilgrims, lot history how the church was established- our lady of good health. Too busy on holidays, recommend visiting during winter between October and February, very hot on summers

The spiritual and holy place to get the blessings of Holy Mary Matha. The church is maintained well, but on the beach side, it is tough to maintain because of the crowds. Most people consider it a pilgrimage place and try to visit it at least once a year. Rooms for visitors provided by the Church are affordable to stay in, but during festival times it is tough to get rooms. Other private rooms from hotels are overpriced. Peaceful place to feel the experience of positive vibes! Best Holy & Tourist Place!!!!

Holy place and beautiful roman catholic church . Getting a church rooms on festival time and weekends very difficult there is no online booking system. If you want rooms ,you have to wait in the queue minimum 1hr . but compare to the out side rooms, church rooms are safe . near by church market fish, meat, and grocery item are very costly, some people cheated also If plan to cook get your grocery items with you . Dont buy the children's toys form way of beach shops materials are low quality and very costly. Fixed rate only . Church canteen food good and reasonable price , if you want buy a candles and holy water near by old church shop you can get at low price. My personal advice don't take bath form the beach it's very dangerous waves very aggressive.
