Morickap Resort - Resort hotel in Kalpetta, Vengapally - Wayanad, India

We stayed here for 2 days and During our stay their overall Hospitality was excellent. It was very luxury in class the room was just awesome. Location of this resort is just mind blowing. Indoors and out doors games for Adult and kids, Adventure Games too available, we really enjoyed. All kind of food are very tasty. Blindly stay here for pleasant experience. Thanks Morickap.

Location of this resort is easily accessible over all ambience is awesome at the night . I stayed in a premium villa but the view from balcony was not meet that much expected. Two days just zipped past! Fantastic rooms with a beautiful pool and plenty of activities if you are traveling with family and kids. Menu can be pumped up a bit to make it more appealing. Food is good and well prepared. Entertainment programme organized every evening and along with treks! Highly recommended. Very amazing and courteous staff all around.

Morickap resort was on my dream vacation.Really I was so happy to stay there Excellent service Staff, service, facilities, food everything is just amazing..... Very clean and neat room and surroundings ... Excellent and hygiene food Atmosphere was very nice I felt very happy to stay there. Room view was very beautiful Calm atmosphere and relaxing peaceful environment. Very greenery view ...

We booked 3 rooms for 2 days and the entire family had a great time. Super friendly staff, clean resort, food was great. Thank you guys for the wonderful hospitality!

We stayed for three nights at Morickap. Our plan was to spend more time at the resort and less time visiting tourist places around Waynad. Hospitality at the resort was top notch. Everyone had a genuine warm smile while interacting with us, be it the person who checked us in or the staff at the restaurant or the folks at the reception. The rooms were clean and the decor was warm and pleasing. Service was very prompt and all our service requests were attended to really quickly. We had taken a package that included food, evening snacks and dinner. Breakfast and dinner spreads were quite wide with a variety of items including local, Indian and continental delicacies. Food was tasty, not too spicy, not too oily, and not heavy on the stomach. The evening snack was good too. It would have been better if they had served regular filter coffee instead of the instant one which they did. Among the activities available at the resort, we tried zipline and wall climbing. The staff managing these activities were quite professional and patient. During two of the nights of our stay, the weather allowed for a bonfire and there was always a live mini musical concert that was arranged. The person managing the event did manage to keep both adults and kids engaged. We also used the in-resort spa facility but didn't really enjoy it a lot. The only annoying point was during the last night of our stay. A couple of folks were smoking within the premises of the resort. The wind carried the strong smell of smoke into the dining area and along the walkways resulting in a very off-putting experience. It will be really helpful if the management, marks designated smoking areas within the resort. This way folks who want to smoke can do so without disturbing the general crowd.
