Entry to the Dam is restricted. You can visit the View Points via a connecting Road however the condition of the road is pathetic and gets worst during rains. The View is Scenic however there a little to none people around these Spots. Visit only when in Groups. Many of the View Points were a bit dangerous as the path was muddy and slippery. Some of the Spots were very steep and couldn't be gauged properly due to the vegetation around. Kindly avoid visiting with Kids.
I visit here , beutyfull place , peacefull location beautyfull seenerio , best time to visit here is in tha rain monsoon. A good place to visit during monsoon to get your mind refreshed.

There are moments in life when we are fortunate enough to encounter views so breathtaking that they leave an everlasting imprint on our souls. Recently, I had the privilege of experiencing one such view that transported me to a realm of indescribable beauty.
A very beautiful place, quite close to Navi Mumbai. We took about an hour, and reached the site by 6am. We were to head to another place for a night stay and decided to check the place. There are many trails which lead to adjacent forts/ peaks. A day also would be less to explore the dam. There are few stalls, but they would only open post 9am and would serve you the traditional snack. It could get windy, hence carrying a wind cheater at least is advisable. Shoes are a must, try to avoid chappal as it would break and you would be required to turn around. Plenty of starting point for trails or for a walk around, make sure you park it at a point which you can return to, like a landmark (school/ temple etc.) Don't be afraid of the dogs, they are very playful.
This is the village upstream of Morbe Dam, just 1-2 km away from dam waters. But this villagers have no use of it. Whole Navi Mumbai gets water from the pipelines from Morbe Dam, but not this nearest village. What an irony this is. They have dug a small hole in this dry river. They wait for hours for water to come up. You gotta do something government
It is a beautiful dam. Sunset point view is so good at there.
Very good place for a one day picnic. Not crowded. Swimming is water is dangerous and not allowed. Less space for parking. The road becomes an off-roading trail once you cross the dam
